Hi all, welcome back at my #running blog!
Today was a fun but very busy day with both my kids aswell as taking care of my inlaws before having some time to stretch the legs in the evening.
My run today was a mid zone 2 run where the focus was on running in good posture rather than on speed.
The weather was supposed to be quite warm - roughly 30 C , but it turned out to be cooler because it was raining quite a bit today. Which was pleasant!
My running pace was slightly below 5:00 min / km while running with 144 bpm (mid zone 2) which is a decent sign. But I am aware I should be incorporating more strenght and speed workouts moving closer to my 2 trail marathons - if I want to improve my previous times! So my goal will be to add core work outs every day (10 min) and leg strenghtning excercises every other day!
But first some running adventures in the Belgium Ardennes for a full week! Which is known as a great place for some fun hilly trail runs!
