The person we are seeing in the pictures is 65 years old, he is my father, his name is Mario Alberto, he has been living a healthy life for a long time, he has diabetes and hypertension. But he has always practiced sports, especially weights and judo.

La persona que estamos viendo en las fotos tiene 65 años, es mi padre, se llama Mario Alberto, lleva haciendo una vida saludable desde hace ya mucho, tiene por condición diabétes e hipertensión. Pero siempre ha practicado deportes, sobre todo pesas y judo.

At the time I thought I was watching a lot of overcoming videos and that I was trying to get out of myself with that cliché phrase, so I smiled and we got ready to run.

Entonces aprovechó su rol paterno y me dice René, la clave en la vida, como en el ejercicio, está en la constancia. Ir rápido, no te asegura que vallas a cumplir todas tus metas. En cambio, si vas, no lento, pero si seguro con la mente kilómetro a kilómetro, un paso a la vez, vas a cumplir todo en esta vida. Fallar es parte de ganar. Quien no gana es quien nunca ha fallado. Al momento pensé que estaba viendo muchos videos de superación y que trataba de salir de mi con esa frase tan cliché, así q sonreí y nos preparamos para correr.

I managed to do 4.63 km with a time of 34:21 minutes. Maybe you do not see it as a great achievement, but for me it is another small step to reach my goal. My goal is the 21 km, I will close December 2024 running the 21 km.
Salimos sobre las 7:00 am, ya que es un muy buen horario para la actividad de correr. Sobre la respiración, me explico que es mejor lograr respirar en secuencias de a dos, inahlas dos veces y exhala otras dos. Bajamos la velocidad y a pesar de que en un principio no entendí, al ver que superaba mi primer kilómetro y que aún me mantenía en forma me alegre. El resultado final es que le debo no tan solo la vida a mi padre, si no que sus enseñanzas me han hecho la persona que soy y poder compartir de esta manera me llena de un orgullo increible. Logré hacer 4.63 km con un tiempo de 34:21 minutos . Quizás no lo veas cómo un gran logro, pero para mí es otro pequeño paso para lograr llegar a mi meta. Meta que son los 21 km, voy a cerrar Diciembre del 2024 corriendo los 21 km.
