Esta historia es sumamente reciente y creo que aún me duele un poco, pero aún así me gustaría contárselas para que aprendan a no confiar en todo el mundo, sobre todo, sus temas personales.
This story is extremely recent and I think it still hurts a little, but I would still like to tell you about it so that you learn not to trust everyone, especially their personal issues.
En mi trabajo siempre hemos sido muchas chicas y, por un momento, dos varones. En distintas ocasiones me habían dicho que trabajar con mujeres era complicado, pero durante todo el año me había ido estupendamente con ellas.

No sé en qué momento pasamos de tener una excelente relación, a que me miraran de reojo, realizaban burlas hacia mi en voz muy baja, me lanzaban "puntas"... Hasta que un día, dos semanas antes de empezar la cuarentena, me di cuenta gracias a un comentario entre ellas de que mis compañeras tenían un grupo llamado "El Aquelarre", en el cual chismeaban. Pero en este, no nos habían incluido ni a mi jefa, ni a mi.
I don't know at what point we went from having a great relationship, to having people look at me out of the corner of their eye, making fun of me in a very low voice, throwing spikes at me... Until one day, two weeks before the beginning of the quarantine, I realized thanks to a comment from them that my companions had a group called "El Aquelarre", in which they gossiped. But this one didn't include my boss or me.
Vale la pena destacar que todas siempre habíamos sido muy unidas, pero en su momento pensé que no nos habían incluido en este grupo de WhatsApp debido a que mi jefa representaba una figura de autoridad, y que yo al ser Senior (en su momento), y mano derecha de ella, temían que pensáramos algo malo.

Sobre todo porque últimamente se encontraban tocando muchísimo temas sexuales con respecto a distintas personas con las cuales se encontraban saliendo. Por ende, para mi fue de lo más normal no haber estado incluida en el grupo, ya que no suelo compartir mucho este tipo de información a pesar de ser bastante extrovertida.

So, for me, it was normal not to have been included in the group, since I don't usually share this kind of information in spite of being quite outgoing.

Aquí es donde empieza lo interesante:
Un día, al salir tarde de la oficina, me encontraba sentada en una de las computadoras compartidas en las cuales trabajaba una de estas muchachas. Solo nos encontrábamos una chica -la cual no solía hablar mucho- y yo presentes en la oficina, así que nos acompañamos mutuamente para terminar una labor para un cliente.
This is where the interesting part starts. One day, as I was leaving the office late, I found myself sitting at one of the shared computers where one of these girls was working. There was only one girl -who didn't talk much- and me present in the office, so we accompanied each other to finish a job for a client.
Al estar sentada en esa computadora, repentinamente llegó un mensaje al WhatsApp de la muchacha (nota: siempre dejábamos nuestras redes sociales abiertas en las laptops por la confianza que nos teníamos. Inclusive, a veces unas le contestaban los mensajes a las otras cuando estaban ocupadas), así que me pareció de lo más normal ver que llegara esa notificación.
While sitting at that computer, a message suddenly came from the WhatsApp of the girl who commonly sits at it (note: we always left our social networks open on laptops because of the trust we had in each other. Sometimes one of us even answered the other's WhatsApps when we were busy), so it seemed like a normal thing to do to get that notification.
Cuando la chica que estaba sentada trabajando cerca de mi escuchó que llegó un mensaje a esa computadora, puso una cara muy extraña, la cual noté. Así que mi instinto me hizo voltear a mirar lo que decía la notificación, y en ella aparecía una tercera compañera hablando por el grupo de "El Aquelarre", comentando que yo era "jalabolas con mis jefes" (palabra que se queda corta para lo grosera que en verdad fue).
When the girl who was sitting next to me at work heard a message on that computer, she made a very strange face, which I noticed. So my instinct made me look at the notice, and one of these other girls was on it, speaking for the WhatsApp group mentioned above, commenting that I was "jalabolas con mis jefes" (a word that is too small for how rude it really was).
Inmediatamente dijo que quería ir al baño y se encerró en este. Como no soy boba, se activó mi modo stalker (favor no hacer esto en casa, JAJAJA), y cómo sabía que no me iba a dar tiempo de leer todo lo que habían escrito sobre mi, lo que hice fue que, en cuestión de 15 segundos, saqué mi teléfono y empecé a grabar la conversación completa mientras scrolleaba.
He immediately said he wanted to go to the bathroom and locked himself in. Since I'm not stupid, my stalker mode was activated (please don't do this at home, Ha-ha), and since I knew I wouldn't have time to read everything they had written about me, what I did was that, in a matter of 15 seconds, I took out my phone and started recording the entire conversation while scrolling.
Acto seguido, cerré la pestaña y seguí como si nada. La chica salió del baño, claramente más tranquila porque sabía que había salvado su imagen conmigo. Después se fue y, al yo intentar abrir la conversación de nuevo, confirmé que ya la muchacha la había cerrado tras ser advertida desde el baño. Por ende, me senté a analizar lo que había grabado y me di cuenta de la cantidad de sandeces que habían dicho sobre mi, ebn las cuales no vale la pena especificar, pues ya se las imaginarán.
Then I closed the tab and went on as if nothing had happened. The girl came out of the bathroom, clearly calmer because she knew she had saved her image with me. Then she left and, as I tried to open the conversation again, I confirmed that the girl had already closed it after being warned from the bathroom. So, I started to analyze what my video had recorded and I realized how much nonsense they had said about me, which is not worth telling you here, because you can imagine.
Para darles solo un abreboca, según ellas yo era "hipócrita, doble cara, niña de oro de mis jefes, tenía intención robarles los clientes a la empresa ya que sentían que tenía una relación demasiado cercana con ellos, lo cual les parecía sospechoso"... De todo había allí.

Justo después de leer estos mensajes, me puse a llorar como no lo hacía en años, pues las personas que consideraba realmente mis amigas, me habían traicionado. Repito: MIS AMIGAS en mayúsculas, ya que literalmente daba todo por ellas a pesar de tener un vínculo laboral.
Right after reading these messages, I started crying like I hadn't in years, because the people I really considered my friends had betrayed me. I repeat: MY FRIENDS in capital letters, since I literally gave everything for them despite having a work relationship.
Creo que La Academia me hubiese dado un Oscar por la mejor actuación al ver que durante 2 semanas actué como si no hubiese visto nada.
Claramente le conté de esto a mi jefa y, poco a poco, ella se fue dando cuenta de que le hacían exactamente lo mismo a ella.
I think The Academy would have given me an Oscar for best performance to see that for 2 weeks I acted like I didn't see anything. I clearly told my boss about this and, little by little, she realized that they were doing exactly the same thing to her.
¡Pero no se preocupen, muchachos! La historia terminó con un final feliz, ya que a los 15 días, ninguna de ellas eran parte de la empresa (por no contarles la versión completa).
Dicen por ahí que uno no se debe aferrar a lo material, o inclusive a los amores, pero en este momento me tomo el atrevimiento de incluir también a las amistades.
Eso sí, a pesar de haber dejado una cicatriz en mi corazón (la cual me costó meses superar), esta situación me dejó una gran enseñanza y muchos momentos de felicidad sobre un pasado que nunca volverá...
But don't worry, guys! The story ended up having a happy ending, since after 15 days, the 3 were no longer part of the company (for not telling them the full version).
They say that one should not cling to material things, or even to love, but at this point I take the liberty of including friendships as well.
But despite having left a scar on my heart (which took me months to get over), this situation left me with a great lesson and many moments of happiness about a past that will never come back...
