Have a cordial greeting to all the Hive community, it is a pleasure for me to be here, and to make public my presentation to all of you. For some time I have been reading, researching and I think it is the right time to be part of this great family.
Mi nombre es Carlos Lugo, por la Gracia de Dios soy un hombre cristiano, casado, y padre de dos hermosos hijos (hembra y varón), soy Venezolano nacido en Caracas, aunque resido actualmente en la ciudad de Barquisimeto. Como cabeza de familia tengo bastantes responsabilidades, cuidar de mi esposa y de mis hijos, enseñarles y ayudarles siempre, por lo tanto uno de los objetivos que tengo en mente al ingresar a Hive es poder a largo plazo darles una mejor vida si se puede decir de esa manera, y guiarlos a una economía sustentable, donde puedan darle valor a sus talentos; pienso que Hive es una plataforma perfecta para lograrlo.
My name is Carlos Lugo, by the Grace of God I am a Christian man, married, and father of two beautiful children (male and female), I am Venezuelan born in Caracas, although I currently reside in the city of Barquisimeto. As head of the family I have many responsibilities, taking care of my wife and my children, teaching them and helping them always, therefore one of the objectives I have in mind when joining Hive is to be able to give them a better life in the long term if you can say that way, and guide them to a sustainable economy, where they can give value to their talents; I think that Hive is a perfect platform to achieve it.

Además de eso, pienso que las criptomonedas son lo mejor que hay en cuestión monetaria, el simple hecho de que sean descentralizadas es algo maravilloso, lo cual me anima y me hace ver la posibilidad real de abandonar el sistema financiero tradicional. Es algo que he perseguido desde hace muchos años de trabajo como empleado, tanto así que actualmente soy Freelancer, sin embargo al final sigue siendo un trabajo para alguien más, en otras palabras algo centralizado.
Besides that, I think cryptocurrencies are the best thing there is in monetary matters, the simple fact that they are decentralized is something wonderful, which encourages me and makes me see the real possibility of abandoning the traditional financial system. It is something I have been pursuing for many years of working as an employee, so much so that I am currently a Freelancer, however in the end it is still a job for someone else, in other words something centralized.
De profesión, soy Tsu en Control de calidad, por varios años trabajé en diferentes empresas importantes de la ciudad, como Covencaucho y Pastas Capri, pero nunca encajé en ellas, pues no me gusta trabajar para otras personas, lamentablemente así fui enseñado desde niño (estudiar, graduarme, y ser explotado por alguien más). Siempre he creído que el valor de un trabajo debe ser correctamente remunerado, cosa que no suele ser así como empleado.
By profession, I am TSU in Quality Control, for several years I worked in different important companies in the city, as Covencaucho and Pastas Capri, but I never fit in them, because I do not like working for other people, unfortunately so I was taught since childhood (study, graduate, and be exploited by someone else). I have always believed that the value of a job should be properly remunerated, something that is not usually the case as an employee.

Al día de hoy me dedico al diseño gráfico, la ilustración y la redacción, las cuales son mis verdaderas pasiones. Por muchos años, incluso antes de graduarme, comencé a estudiar por mi cuenta acerca del diseño gráfico, realizando efectos de Photoshop en imágenes luego de ver tutoriales en Youtube, hasta que poco a poco fui perfeccionando mi propio estilo. Después de eso fueron llegando trabajos como hacer tarjetas de presentación, flyers, pendones, logos, stickers, trípticos, etc. Aunado a eso aprendí el arte de ilustrar, y allí me he quedado, realizando pinturas digitales en acuarela, retratos de parejas y también de mascotas, las cuales me encantan. Today I dedicate myself to graphic design, illustration and writing, which are my true passions. For many years, even before graduating, I began to study graphic design on my own, making Photoshop effects on images after watching tutorials on Youtube, until little by little I was perfecting my own style. After that, I started to work on business cards, flyers, banners, logos, stickers, triptychs, etc. Along with that I learned the art of illustration, and there I have stayed, making digital watercolor paintings, portraits of couples and pets, which I love. En cuanto a la creación de contenido, no es del todo nuevo para mí, me ha tocado hacerlo en varios espacios web por cuestiones laborales, y también adquirí cierta experiencia en otra red social llamada steemit. Abrí una cuenta allí en el año 2018, pero rápidamente la abandone porque no entendía nada, sin embargo hace cuatro meses quise darle otra oportunidad y aprendí un poco acerca de este asunto, pero tiempo después supe de Hive y como dije al principio me dedique a investigar, y he notado que aunque el funcionamiento es similar, aquí en Hive la interacción es clase A1, he leído post en diferentes comunidades y veo muchos comentarios positivos y estimulantes, lo cual es un añadido excelente para todo creador de contenido. Este es un punto que me enganchó.
As for content creation, it's not entirely new to me, I've had to do it in several web spaces for work issues, and I also gained some experience in another social network called steemit. I opened an account there in 2018, but quickly abandoned it because I did not understand anything, however four months ago I wanted to give it another chance and I learned a little about this matter, but some time later I learned about Hive and as I said at the beginning I dedicated myself to investigate, and I have noticed that although the operation is similar, here in Hive the interaction is class A1, I have read post in different communities and I see many positive and stimulating comments, which is an excellent addition for any content creator. This is a point that got me hooked.
Mi intención principal acá en Hive es crear artículos deportivos, soy amante del deporte, practicante desde hace muchos años (béisbol y fútbol), por lo que escribir al respecto es una de las cosas que más me gusta hacer. Comencé a la edad de 5 años a jugar béisbol, fui inscrito por voluntad de mi padre, quien ama grandemente este deporte, lo jugué hasta que entre en la universidad a los 20, fueron 15 años de buenos encuentros, enseñanzas, campeonatos, victorias, derrotas, riñas y mucho más.
My main intention here in Hive is to create sports articles, I am a sports lover, practicing for many years (baseball and soccer), so writing about it is one of the things I like to do the most. I started playing baseball at the age of 5 years old, I was enrolled by my father's will, who loves this sport greatly, I played it until I entered the university at the age of 20, it was 15 years of good games, teachings, championships, victories, defeats, fights and much more.

He de admitir que aunque jugué toda esa cantidad de tiempo, el béisbol no es mi deporte favorito, durante todos esos años cuando fui creciendo me incliné al fútbol, y tuve la oportunidad de jugarlo, quedar campeón y representar a la selección de Lara en un nacional. Cabe destacar que crecí en un tiempo donde el deporte era el pan de cada día, éramos una generación de aproximadamente 50 jóvenes que a diario jugábamos en las canchas del barrio distintas disciplinas, por lo que se jugar no solo béisbol y fútbol, sino también basquet y volley ball, ademas de también saber nadar. Es interesante, pero al hacer una retrospectiva de todo esto, me pregunto cómo fue que me alcanzó para jugar todos esos deportes, creo que pasaba mucho tiempo en la calle.
I must admit that although I played all that amount of time, baseball is not my favorite sport, during all those years when I was growing up I was inclined to soccer, and I had the opportunity to play it, become champion and represent the Lara national team in a national. It should be noted that I grew up in a time where sport was the daily bread, we were a generation of about 50 young people who daily played in the neighborhood courts different disciplines, so I know how to play not only baseball and soccer, but also basketball and volleyball, besides also knowing how to swim. It's interesting, but looking back on all this, I wonder how I managed to play all those sports, I think I spent a lot of time in the street.
Otra de las cosas que deseo realizar en Hive, es realizar ilustraciones, presentar mi arte a toda la comunidad, y también comenzar a jugar en Splinterlands, ya que soy fan de los videojuegos, crecí como un “gamer” amando los títulos de Playstation, gaste muchas horas junto a esa consola disfrutando de muchas aventuras, títulos de rpg, deportes y más; ahora tengo la oportunidad de actualizarme, jugando y ganando dinero. Eso por los momentos, pero estoy seguro que a medida que vaya conociendo y haciendo comunidad encontrare más cosas para hacer y compartir con ustedes.
Another of the things I want to do in Hive, is to make illustrations, present my art to the whole community, and also start playing Splinterlands, since I am a fan of video games, I grew up as a "gamer" loving Playstation titles, I spent many hours next to that console enjoying many adventures, rpg titles, sports and more; now I have the opportunity to update myself, playing and earning money. That for the moment, but I'm sure that as I get to know and make community I will find more things to do and share with you.
