With the first month of 2022 already half way through, are you still invested in your new year resolutions? Personally, I think you can't completely get things done with just the change of the year, or you might have outgrown some projects you might have set your mind into from the past couple years, so the key here was quite helpfully pointed out by @evegrace by sharing her article. An insightful read that may help in enlightening you and somehow make you see a bugger picture on why some of your resolutions don't seem to fall in line just yet, because just like in games, before we tackle the Final Boss, we need to discover a few prerequisites and work on leveling up some skills. ᕙ(⌣◡⌣”)ᕗ
Speaking of skill sets, this journey of restoring an arcade machine as shared by @thorsito is truly noteworthy if you keep in mind that most of this console's parts are already hard to find and replace, so seeing some modern game controllers in the mix really made me curious on how the finished result would actually work! Definitely a follow up gameplay on this is something to watch out for! 🎮
Personally believe that keeping one's solitary days busy through creating and restoring things is a nice method of steady growth, being struck by creative ideas aside, there's something a lot more satisfying in seeing an idea of yours result in something tangible. Much like how @aracelys1965 made this adorable kitten plushie using simple materials that resulted in the joy of creation-- and the smile that could possibly be shared upon sharing this with a child. *✧cʕ•ᴥ•cʔ
Aside from the joy you'd probably get in making stuff, I think another nice thing is the feeling of discovery! @jianil90 shares this in his photos of their National Bird, the dowel-- a magpie robin from what I've researched on in, it's personally nice to know that these tiny feathered friends are far from being endangered-- this is speaking from the point of view that my own country's National bird isn't much lucky. As with the joy of discovering, it doesn't make for an excuse to carelessly exploit nature's wonders.
On the topic of nature's wonders, anything to do with the sunrise or sunset is truly a classic, personally prefer sunrises as it brings the promise of a new day and new discoveries, but there is definitely something about sunsets that have been somewhat romanticized and as perfectly captured by @manuphotos with these silhoutte shots! 🌅 Might as well be won over by the natural happy feeling of ending a tiring day with the arrival of dusk and also the mystery that the upcoming nighttime will offer. ☾*✲⋆.
