It's less than a hundred days before Christmas, and even though I'm more excited for Halloween first, these holiday cheers and songs are really starting to emerge, but I ask what really is the essence of such a consumer-hyped season? Is it just about buying gits for our friends and loved ones? Or having a reason to spend more time with the family when that sort of quality time can be spent all year round with no exceptions and have a great time much like what @tiredmomma shared of their Sunday Fun out in these race tracks. Here in the city you won't be able to find such an open and fresh feel of these surrounding fields which just looks perfect with how OP's kids look to be enjoying their selves, plus it's always a great idea to get out and stop being cooped at their formative years of growing. dʕᴗᴥoʔb
Speaking of getting out and enjoying the outdoors, this beautiful yet forgotten place of Lhok Kruet Cliff as shared by @elchaleefatoe15 may not be the first thing that'll come to mind when coming up with how to spend time along with the kids, but it does sound like a nice quiet stopover to compose oneself and take in the views here and the tragic past that made it so.
Quality time isn't just about spending the day out together, movie nights are a great source of entertainment too and let's not also discount game nights, and we're not talking about old man billiards here with sides of alcohol, more like if you want to add a lil bit of classic arcade feels to what kids these days are into playing than this game titled The Messenger as shared by @slashint checks out in all the boxes. Granted the good 'ol horizontal gameplay may not be as exciting as the open-world types that seem to come with the new age, but this doesn't seem to lack in the amounts of action and adventure that'll keep players of any age invested in it! ⌒(☆＾-°)v
Dining together is also a nice way to keep communications open, catching up on the day's events, but what better way than to do it while making food together, since it'll need a sort of teamwork to do well together and provide a sense of accomplishment in seeing the final results, and I think starting off with baking a couple of these blueberry muffins as shared by @injiskitchen is an easy start to prep for and have a nice snack right after. (๑ゝڡ◕๑)
And for some words to go by this week as shared from @hollowins, Welcoming Your Personal Change, it comes with the passing of time, and maybe instead of getting drifted by the flow, we may as well find reasons to keep ourselves motivated, be it by doing activities we've only just listed as pending or finding the time to spend with the ones close to us. There's no better time than the present. 🎁
