This week, let's take a journey into different perspectives as to what others appreciate about themselves both as a people and as culture, which is how @lsdmercyy shows the beauty he sees in his hometown of Almora-- the cozy lights coming from the homes here does exude a sense of comfort especially during at night. But the real breathtaking sights here are what nature provides for their town-- from waterfalls to sunset views, it comes with an enriching cultural experience too!
Traditions as well have some surprisingly common origins, much like how what I've been taught of St. Anthony back in Catholic school, rings quite close to St. Fanourios and the sweet tradition that comes during this day as shared by @tikotiko. Though it's only these Saints being the patron of a similar aspect, we didn't celebrate with a bake off, which in my opinion makes a celebration more tangible if you have traditions to go along with it!
Celebrations and traditions are made more important as they only happen for a short period of time in a year-- mostly only once-- so that makes routine the complete opposite because of a form of obligation. Most of the time we can't find joy in repetitive tasks unless it comes in a form of hobby much like pet-keeping, which only piqued my interest when we're talking about snail keeping as shared by @phoenixwren. I've only ever cared for Beta fishes and guppies as a child before finding my compatibility with guinea pigs, so it came off as uncommon for me (yet not completely unheard of) in seeing the many interesting ways to care for one's snail, and OP and doing a very fine and informative article by sharing this to us curious readers or aspiring snail owner, because one should always remember to make an ample amount of time to research before thinking of caring for a future pet.
Speaking of pets had me clicking on this gameplay titled Fran Bow as shared by @valeriavalentina, just cuz the cat in the thumbnail got me before I could even absord that this seemingly innocent title was under the genre of psychological horror. Like the saying goes, "You can't judge a book by its cover." and the same thing goes for this game title just cuz I was naive enough to think along the lines of what possible horrors I would end up knowing with just a kid and her cat here. Turns out, kids are the best recipe for a creepy plotline. Add here a dash of something like Alice in Madness, and turn it into a somehow point-and-clicker, and you'll prolly be hoping nothing will jump outta you in the next scene.
And as parting words from your Pawesome collector, I'm taking a page out of @rocksg about what he wrote in his article about Improving on Self-perception-- "You must be yourself and live your truth without the continual approval of others." And although this might end with some sacrifice on one's part, always know you've given your best and there is no room for regrets or looking back. Some arrangements may not be official but nothing really lasts forever in this life, and so until you hear from me again, this is your Epic Smile Maker now signing off.
