- Gelatin drink
For me it is something very rare that the families here have adopted, taking gelatin as a drink, after lunch or a snack, and it is completely watered down like a juice, these are things that at the moment I see and block myself and think why is it like this? ? That's not how you eat it, hahaha.
- Bebida de gelatina
Para mí es algo muy raro que adoptaron las familias de aquí, tomar gelatina como una bebida, después del almuerzo o una merienda, y es completamente aguada como un jugo, son cosas que de momento veo y me bloqueo y pienso ¿por qué está así? Así no se come, hahaha.

2 "Canchita"
I had never eaten corn like that, it's corn grains, I think fried with salt, I remember the first time I saw this, they serve it to you when you go to wait for your food, as if it were bread, then the waitress places the corn on the table and I see that everyone starts to eat it and I remember saying: oh no, the corn did not explode, I thought it was popcorn and they explain to me that it is eaten like that and in my mind I thought omg what, are we chickens?
2 Las canchitas
Nunca había comido el maíz así, son los granos de maíz creo que fritos con sal, recuerdo la primera vez que ví esto, esto te lo sirven cuando vas a esperar tu comida, como si fuera pan, entonces la mesera coloca el maíz en la mesa y veo que todos empiezan a comerlo y recuerdo haber dicho: oh no, el maíz no explotó, pensaba que era popcorn y me explican que eso se come así y en mi mente pensaba omg qué, ¿somos gallinas?
3 The bags
When I was new here and I ordered food, I got a lot of bags, there was like a mini salad in a plastic bag, my juice also came in a plastic bag, I had never seen a juice in a plastic bag before and also the sauces of your food. It is currently changing and they are not in all places, now they are even creating decrees so that companies are more aware and use everything biodegradable.
3 Las bolsas
Cuando estaba recién llegada aquí y ordené comida, me llegaron muchas bolsas, había como una mini ensalada en una bolsa de plástico, mi jugo también venía en una bolsa de plástico, nunca antes había visto un jugo en una bolsa plástica y también las salsas de tu comida. Actualmente está cambiando y no son en todos los lugares, ahora incluso están creando decretos para que las empresas sean más conscientes y usen todo biodegradable.
4 Earthquakes
I have felt about 6 tremors since I have been here and in my country I remember that I only felt something like this twice and they were years apart, here about once a month you can feel an earthquake and it scares me, I live in a building it is small 5 floors but still a building. You never know when you are going to feel an earthquake and sometimes that does not give me peace of mind

He sentido como unos 6 temblores desde que estoy aquí y en mi país recuerdo que solo dos veces sentí algo así y fueron años de diferencia, aquí como una vez al mes puedes sentir un temblor y me da miedo, yo vivo en un edificio es pequeño de 5 pisos pero todavía es un edificio. Nunca sabes cuándo va a ver un temblor y a veces eso no me da tranquilidad
5 People in sandals at all times
For me it is very strange to see people in sandals when they are outside the house, in my country of origin it is customary to wear sandals to be inside the house but when we go out we wear shoes, when I am in amall or another place and I see a person in sandals I can't help but think it's weird.
5 Gente en sandalias a cada momento
Para mí es muy extraño ver a personas en sandalias cuando están fuera de casa, en mi país de origen es costumbre usar sandalias para estar dentro de casa pero al salir usamos zapatillas, cuando estoy en un centro comercial u otro lugar y veo una persona en sandalias no puedo evitar pensar que es extraño.
There are many things about Peru that I have been adapting to, but there are others that not much, one of them is that I am not very used to talking to people here, some are good and others treat you as if you were wearing a sign of "Human being inferior"
Hay muchísimas cosas sobre Perú que me he ido adaptando, pero hay otras que no mucho, una de ellas es que no me acostumbro mucho a hablar con personas aquí, algunas son buenas y otras te tratan como si tú llevarías un cartel de "Ser inferior"
