Filling in the gaps: It is intriguing to the person selecting, finding gaps of months or years out of work on a resume triggers an alert, since a person who has been unemployed for a long time may find it very difficult to adapt to working formally in a company; the other suspicion they may have is that this space is generated by some work experience, that has been deliberately omitted because it ended up in bad terms.

En estos casos es bueno tener preparadas dos síntesis curriculares, cada una orientada hacia alguna de estas fortalezas para no perder la posibilidad de postularnos en ningún área.
The inconvenient comes when this knowledge is not related, such as being a manicurist and systems engineer, a policeman and a pastry chef, or a fireman and an opera singer. If you are applying for a specific position, highlight your resume for that position, choose the work experiences that have the most similarity to the position you require, trying not to leave the gaps that were mentioned above. In these cases it is good to have two summaries of your curriculum prepared, each one oriented towards one of these strengths so that you do not lose the possibility of applying in any area.
