Leer es una de mis actividades favoritas desde pequeña, así que no podía resistirme a participar en el TAG de @cami.rojas dedicado a los lectores.
A través de la lectura te puedes trasladar a otro mundo que haces propio, ya que todo está en tu imaginación. Por eso generalmente se dice que los libros son mejores que sus adaptaciones cinematográficas, porque en los detalles está la magia.

Si tengo tiempo libre y el libro es muy bueno puedo leermelo en un día o dos, que es generalmente lo que me gusta hacer porque extender mucho la lectura hace que pierdas el hilo y la motivación. Pero claro que he tenido que extender varias lecturas por falta de tiempo. Sin embargo, creo que esta respuesta depende mucho de la calidad del libro. If I have free time and the book is very good I can read it in a day or two, which is usually what I like to do because extending the reading too much makes you lose the thread of the history and motivation. But of course I have had to extend several readings due to lack of time. However, I think this answer depends a lot on the quality of the book. If the story has me gripped, I make time where there is none to continue reading and find out what happens.

Of course from a very young age in school we have our first approaches to books, mainly academic ones. But the kind I like, mainly novels, I started reading for fun. El problema es que leer con cansancio impide que disfrutes el libro como debe ser y quizás en la mañana ni recuerdes bien lo que leíste.
I'm not going to say it's been the best experience, but more than once I've stayed awake reading because I can't wait until the next day to read what's still going on in the story. The problem is that reading while tired prevents you from enjoying the book as it should be and maybe in the morning you won't even remember what you read.

No sé si tanto como odiar, pero por supuesto me he molestado por cosas que suceden en la historia que me parecen totalmente innecesarias como la muerte de un buen personaje o la separación de alguna pareja.

Sin duda soy amante de las novelas. Puedo leer otro tipo de libros pero lo que buscaría de primero en una librería para comprar (o en internet) sería una novela.
Without a doubt I am a lover of novels. I can read other types of books but what I would look for first in a bookstore to buy (or online) would be a novel.

La verdad es que, aunque me gusta leer, soy exigente con lo que leo y si un libro no me convence con las primeras páginas, fácilmente puedo dejarlo sin terminar.
