Weniger Zinseinnahmen
Für viele war die Reduktion der HBD Zinsen von 20 % auf 15 % längst überfällig. Einigen ist selbst das noch zu hoch, und wahrscheinlich mit Recht.
Für @hive.helps ist es jedoch ein Rückschlag. 5 % weniger Zinsen, bedeutet 33% mehr Kapitalaufwand, um später die Spenden finanzieren zu können, oder eben 25 % weniger Spenden. Wir lassen uns davon aber nicht unterkriegen und machen weiter.
Da inzwischen viele um Gelder für ihre Hive Projekte vom DHF Pool bitten, könnte ich das ja eigentlich für @hive.helps auch tun. Gut angelegt wäre es auf jeden Fall. Was könnte man mit 500.000 HBD tun, wie Splinterlands es angefragt hatte. Für @hive.helps wären bereits 10.000 HBD verteilt über die nächsten Monate ein Traum.
Was denkt ihr, hätte ein solches Proposal eine Chance, wenn es entsprechend vorbereitet ist? Ist der DHF Pool dafür eigentlich gedacht?
Einige von Euch folgen bereits dem @hive.helps hat jetzt auch einen curation trail von @hive.helps. Wenn ihr eure HP passiv für etwas gutes nutzen wollt, könnt ihr das auch tun.
Less interest income
For many, the reduction in HBD interest from 20 % to 15 % was long overdue. For some, even that is still too high, and probably rightly so.
For @hive.helps, however, it is a setback. 5% less interest means 33% more capital expenditure to be able to finance the donations later, or 25% less donations. But we won't let this get us down and will carry on.
As many people are now asking for money for their hive projects from the DHF pool, I could actually do the same for @hive.helps. It would definitely be money well spent. What could you do with 500,000 HBD, as Splinterlands had requested? For @hive.helps, 10,000 HBD spread over the next few months would be a dream.
What do you think, would such a proposal have a chance if it is prepared accordingly? Is the DHF pool actually intended for this?

Das neue Ziel von @hive.helps ist es, in den nächsten Jahren 20.000 HBD anzusparen, um mit den Zinsen dauerhaft Spenden zu finanzieren.
Bis dieses Ziel erreicht ist, werden sämtliche Zinsen und Rewards im Account belassen. Die Spenden zahlt @kheldar1982 bis dahin weiterhin ohne etwas aus dem Account zu entnehmen.
HBD development
The new goal of @hive.helps is to save up 20,000 HBD over the next few years in order to use the interest to permanently finance donations.
Until this goal is reached, all interest and rewards will be left in the account. Until then, @kheldar1982 will continue to pay the donations without taking anything from the account.

Mitte August haben wir nun die 4.000 HBD in den Savings erreicht.
Der größte Treiber für das Wachstum sind weiterhin die Zinsen auf HBD. Wir waren bereits bei annähernd 70 HBD angekommen, sind aber aufgrund der Zinssenkung nun wieder bei unter 55 HBD.

Die Upvotes für die @hive.helps Posts sind zurückgegangen, was aber verständlich ist, da es derzeit "nur" das monatliche Updaten sowie der Spendenpost ist. Die Community möchte öfter mal etwas Neues, was ich derzeit aber zeitlich einfach nicht liefern kann, bzw. will. Darum geht es in diesem Projekt ja aber auch nicht.
We have now reached the 4,000 HBD mark in Savings in mid-August.
The biggest driver of growth continues to be interest on HBD. We had already reached almost 70 HBD, but are now back below 55 HBD due to the interest rate cut.
Another 20 HBD came from @condeas. This means that he has already donated over 200 HBD to @hive.helps. Thank you very much. @edina76 and @hafiz34 have also supported the project again. Many thanks to you too.

The upvotes for the @hive.helps posts have decreased, but this is understandable as it is currently ‘only’ the monthly update and the donation post. The community often wants something new, which I simply can't or don't want to deliver at the moment. But that's not what this project is about.
