Hello everyone and hivers!
Warm greetings to all of us, may we always be blessed and have the ease of having a beautiful day.
December, the month at the end of the year, is the month most people look forward to, especially for those who will celebrate Christmas and New Year. This year, is a year that has been a bit of a relief compared to the previous year, where we are still very busy with a very gloomy situation, fearing the threatening co-19. However, this year we have started to recover a bit, although a new problem has come where we are a little burdened with a slightly shaky financial situation due to the post-pandemic.
Maybe this is the first happy Christmas for those celebrating, where you can gather with family and friends without any restrictions from the government not to crowds, everything is well under control at Christmas this year. As a citizen of Indonesia, especially North Sumatra, which is dominated by a large number of people who celebrate Christmas, the ambiance of every Christmas is definitely felt in my area. Christmas and New Year are something sacred, where celebrating is a must, because Christmas and New Year are moments where all families can gather with complete family members.
Supermalls are currently filled with lots of people shopping, because Christmas and New Year are moments to buy all the essentials to be proud of, such as buying various clothes, bags, food and knick-knacks so they can be brought back to their hometowns. This makes various roads very congested, especially the main roads leading to various supermalls. This afternoon, my cousin and I were planning to look for souvenirs to be used as hampers, I intended to give them to my friends who were going to celebrate Christmas, but unfortunately, I was stuck in a long traffic jam. Instead of being afraid that I would come home late, I turned my motorbike around and headed home.
It's so hot this afternoon, still half way home, but instead I parked my motorbike in front of a coffee shop, I thought, coffee might calm me down because I'm basking in the sun this afternoon. Ordered a glass of iced americano and also palm sugar coffee for my cousin, the right choice to add energy and cool off in a café with full ac. Hot and rainy weather is very unpredictable at this time, even though when I left the house, I was sure that the weather this time was cloudy, but it turned out that I couldn't guess the sun, maybe right now the mood is very happy and emits its light all over the earth.
I sat in that coffee shop for an hour, I couldn't drive a motorbike at this time, waiting for the clouds to slightly overcast, the journey to my house took 30 minutes, unfortunately, I was wearing a black shirt, it absorbs light a lot and my body sweats a lot. Luckily there was a glass of americano that I bought, at least it added fluids to my body.
Bad luck brought me to this coffee shop, but I feel a little grateful that I found such a good coffee shop. This is one of the coffee shops that is close to a well-known campus in my city, usually, the visitors to this coffee shop are students who are studying, in fact, the prices they offer are also very affordable. Many chairs and tables are provided, making it easier for students to work in groups or while working on class assignments. The space in this coffee shop is also very wide, of course it is supported by very cold air conditioning, making it even more comfortable to be here.
Besides that, the americano coffee is very good, this is my benchmark in judging whether the coffee is very good or not, try a glass of americano. After trying it, I liked the coffee I ordered, unfortunately, I don't know what coffee they use, but my tongue says that there is a mixture that combines perfectly between Arabica and Gayo Robusta. There is a little after taste, a little bit of bitterness but it doesn't dominate, leaving a little coffee smell on the roof of the mouth. Tasty, but not very tasty, perfect for clearing throats on very hot days without the need for sugar.
Hopefully, next time, I will come to this coffee shop again, will try some of the menus they serve, there are also some signatures they recommend. That's all my coffee story for today, have a nice weekend, Hivers..
See you the next time hive friends!
