No. 1 @shanibeer π Market Friday |mClarks In Jamaica and White Rose Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee
I've been enjoying Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee supplied by White Rose Coffee Roasters (Hive's very own @c0ff33a).
In 1953, the Jamaican Government created the Coffee Industry Board (CIB) of Jamaica, a regulatory body established to protect the quality of Jamaican coffee. Jamaica was the first country in the world to establish a defined geographical location designated to a specific coffee brand, similar to that constructed by the French wine industry with the creation of the AOC (Appellation Origine Controlle). Many people believe Blue Mountain Coffee is the best in the world - I had to try it. White Rose Coffee Roasters offer 250g packs now, just right for home consumption. I also have to say White Rose has the fairest price available, that I've been able to find, in the UK. I also know that it was freshly roasted and ground immediately before it was sent to me (each pack is date marked). The aroma was heavenly!
No. 2 @chacald.dcymt π Carajillo Cubano || Cuban Carajillo
Having coffee in a historic City in Cuba sounds so appealing:)
Espresso coffee, as is the tradition of the Cubans. Very strong to enjoy the sweet and bitter taste of a delicious coffee grown in the Sierra Maestra.
Strolling through the historic center of the city, we entered a beautiful and traditional coffee shop called "La Perla de Cuba", where we were given the menu of a wide variety of coffee. As it was so hot they suggested a Carajillo, which is the combination of an espresso coffee with a touch of Cuban rum.
No. 3 @shmoogleosukami π Timelapse Coffee
I decided to make a timelapse of myself making coffee. Turned out ok, was a little quick so slowed it down just a tad bit.

No. 4 @c0ff33a π Road Trip To Leicester To See The Northern Cobbler
Why they came to me is the coffee business had become such a big part of the revenue they wished to expand on it by purchasing a roaster and roasting their own quality coffee to go alongside the amazing shoes. We roasted coffee and discussed the machine which they felt was ideal for their needs. And what a machine to watch roasting the coffee, Toper the manufacturer of the roasters normally trim the front cooling tray, middle drum and top green coffee hopper in either Chrome, Brass or Copper.
No. 5 @bighungrypanda πAeropress
FYI Aeropress also has something called The Aeropress Go which a cute little portable version of it and the entire assembly fits into a drinking cup. HOW COOL IS THAT!!!!! (Feel free to gift me one LOL "Cries On The Inside")
Just a few days back I've taken part in a Coffee Lovers Contest in which I've written quite a bit about my interest and passion for coffee. So if you feel like reading it do go ahead.
No. 6 @shaidon πFirst Things First Coffee
I think this is one thing we can all agree on... For such an early start, I'm happy there's such an amazing cafe :)
My shift is at 6am, meaning that I need to be there at 5:45 am to wrestle with the hit-and-miss biometric fingerprint scanner to clock in (it took me 8 minutes to clock out once!), put my lunchbox in the staff room fridge and get changed into my work's protective equipment and into work.
Early Starts
All of that means I need to get up at 4 am, 4:15 am and 4:30 am. I catch a bus at 5:07am (when it's not late like it was this morning) for 5 stops and get off right near a petrol / gas station for a quick breakfast.
No. 7 @c0ff33a π c0ff33 Vlog 14th May 2021

No.8 @tinaagustina πDalgona Coffee
Have you heard of Dalgona Coffee?
This drink was viral a while ago, a drink that many young people enjoy doing. This drink originating from South Korea was originally from a candy called Dalgona, who knows who started making dalgona from coffee.
The author shares a recipe on how to make a Dalgona Coffee, with just a reminder in her comments to make sure it's Nescafe Coffee.
No. 9 @macchiata π Wonosalam Journal: Would You Still Want To Try Civet Coffee After Seeing This?
Traditionally, people collect scats from wild-civet that roams free. These civet only picked the best coffee berries to eat and the coffee produced is allegedly containing less caffeine than regular coffee. But in captivity, these civets are fed certain coffee berries so these people could collect certain coffee variety. The price made sense to me when the scats collected are from wild-civet that roams free- the chance of finding civet scats are somewhat rare. But when it is held in captivity and breed for the purpose of making the said expensive coffee, It doesn't make sense. There is no more rarity and scarcity aspect to it.
No. 10 @jodipamungkas π Visited My Friends Coffee Shop At Faco Coffee
After waiting for quite a while. Finally my cold espresso order arrived. Ema's taro drink is being made. The coffee making in this place is also very long and unlike the coffee shop I visited before. I immediately tried the cold espresso they recommended to me. Honestly the taste is not that bad and still I can accept. A little sweeter and less pait. It looks like they put more milk. I'll give it a 6/10 score for this cold espresso.
