What an incredible week in honor of International Coffee Day! We asked authors to share posts to the community centered on two ideas. Firstly, we asked to see the impact and inspiration our favorite beverage represents in your life- postcard style!
The community sure delivered! We had a blast reading your postcards to those you've shared meaningful moments with over coffee.
Our second prompt was centered around life's deeper moments. Times of change, self-discovery, and connection. So many important moments in life, either alone or with a loved one, happen over coffee. The entries for this prompt wowed us too, offering insight and smiles in equal measure!

As you can see coffee has always been a great companion when it comes to triggering my reflections, it helps me to find concentration. There is something in this bitter liquid that helps me to center my thoughts, to focus, to keep me on the idea and not to disperse me. No other infusion manages to make me feel that way.

I don't remember exactly when I had my first cup of coffee. Maybe it was when I spent the afternoons at my grandmother's house as a child. She would give us sweet bread and coffee with milk at snack time. I think that's the first memory I'm aware of related to having coffee. Since then, I have drunk a lot of coffee.

There is something about coffee that has always inspired something deep within me. Especially when I take time to reflect and sip — to let that magical elixir wend its way through my bloodstream and awaken my brain.
For years in college and graduate school, I would write papers and short stories with a cup of joe at hand. I loved to find a coffee shop where I could sit with a notebook and write — and it never mattered whether it was quiet or chaotic as long as I could find a little corner table somewhere.
