Hello Hivers!
I was reading articles from dreemport when I crossed on the article of @davidbright about the positve side of pain.
Which made me make another cup of coffee with rice cake and contemplate on it.
I totally agree with what he says about pain.
Pain always teaches us something, something that makes us resilient to a lot of things. I don't think there is anyone who has passed through pain that didn't learn one or two things from such experience. Like I said earlier, pain reminds us that we are humans and it prevents us from thinking we are more than our creator.
For me? Pain can make us or break us.
Pain can make us dreamers and sometimes pain can make us a loser. In my case, pain can make me stopped from doing anything. Just like what disappointment can do to me.
But don't get me wrong, I only stopped to reassess my game not because I don't want to achieve anything anymore, not because I stopped dreaming, not because I'm hurting too much. Just like anyone else I don't want to be on the losing end of course.
Pain should fuel us to achieve more just like how coffee energizes us to do more.
There are times that I wish pain or disappointments are just like instant coffee, that with just a sachet and you skyrocketed again in achieving your dreams however, not all things can be solved with a sachet of instant coffee.
Most of the time you have to go through the process of grinding the beans before you can put them in your coffee maker and wait for a few more minutes before you can have your much-awaited coffee. A coffee that taste a lot better than instant coffee. Most of the time, you have to work hard for it to get a good result.
Just like in life, you have to go through the process of healing before you can function well again. There are no shortcuts in life and definitely there is no such thing as instant healing. Everyone goes through a process in order to be whole again.
Take time if you must, savor the pain if it will help you to understand it better, but don't ever stop dreaming, don't ever quit. Pain shouldn't stop us from anything instead use pain to be stronger and wiser with both feet on the ground. Heal and face the world again knowing that you've been hurt, knowing that you've been broken and yet you're still standing with a cup of coffee in your hand smiling knowing that nothing can knocked you down in life no matter how painful life can be.
And if you've come this far... I hope that I was able to entertain you and made you smile... and for that Thank you.
