After being with my daughter for a few months and going through a lot of suffering with the birth of my grandson, in the state of Yaracuy/Venezuela, I decide to return to my home located in the state of Miranda, since the baby is out of danger and my body/mind is asking for rest.
The night before my trip my daughter prepared a latte. After making the black coffee she poured it into the blender and directly added the powdered milk and sugar, it was very frothy and delicious. We did not drink them alone, without any snacks.
The same day of my trip, my daughter's neighbor surprised me with a delicious coffee with milk with a little cocoa powder and cinnamon, accompanied by a vanilla and chocolate marbled cake. How wonderful, I told her "nothing better to start a trip than an exquisite coffee", she was very grateful, it was really delicious.
I started my trip alone in my car by road, I was very anxious to get home, because it had been several months of much stress and tiredness and I needed a good rest.
But passing through the State of Carabobo, I could not continue without visiting my mother who lives there (she would never forgive me), so I went to her house and spent 3 days with her, she welcomed me with a delicious lunch and then in the afternoon the snack was the best...
A cup of black coffee made by my 86 year old mother with a lot of love "QUÉ BENDICION" accompanied by some catalinas, which combined perfectly with that delicious coffee made by her.
Catalinas: they are like big cookies, with a very soft texture and a very particular taste and smell. They are made with wheat flour, paprika, syrup and cinnamon to taste, they are very tasty.
The next day my mother asked me to take her to my brother's house, who also lives in the State of Carabobo, Valencia, to take her some Christmas ornaments that she no longer uses and my brother would gladly receive them.
We went in the afternoon to take them to him and we helped him and his wife to arrange the apartment with the Christmas ornaments that we had brought and others that they had at home.
My sister-in-law, prepared a black coffee and offered it to us in small blue cups, the coffee was a little watery, guayoyo as we say here in Venezuela, but it was very tasty, I took the audacity to ask if there was any left, as I felt it was too little for my taste (the cup was very small, hahaha), she smiled and told me "sure, sister-in-law, I will serve you more". My mother took the opportunity to stretch out her hand with her empty cup and was also served a little more... hahaha.
The next day I finally took the road to go home. I was listening to music and singing all the way, content, satisfied and very happy to have supported my daughter in those terrible moments we lived through and to have shared a few days with my beloved mother.
After a few hours on the road I arrived home, without any difficulty, thank God.
When I arrived I left the suitcases in the living room, and the first thing I did was to go to the kitchen, rinse the pot and assemble a coffee black , I poured it in the cup, added milk and stirred it very well, leaving a delicious frothy coffee with milk, I sat on the furniture to taste it with a soda cookie and I felt full enjoying it, and thus get the energy needed to unpack everything after such a long and hectic trip.
So far my happy moments with my beloved coffee, which accompanied me in my different stopovers before and after arriving at my destination.
Thanks to all of you for always being there, my greetings to all.
