Still in Khao Kho, Phetchabun, Thailand! Last post I shared about a Chinese theme cafe up in the mountain. Liangsan Coffee Khao Kho. Since I / We love visiting cafes, coffee shops everywhere we go, here come another unique one we visited! Cedar cafe!
🌲 Cedar cafe
From the name, probably not much I need to explain. It's a cafe with Cedar trees, lots of cedar trees surrounded. From the parking lot walking up to the cafe take a little bit of effort especially for a temporary cripple like myself. Good that the area is all shaded because it's that many cedar trees around.
The view from the Cedar cafe is mostly mountain view with all the greens. Though, one side of the cafe, you can see the Wind Turbine farm far far away which I found it's pretty neat. Also, many spots and kinds of seat for you to choose from. My fav is the one just right by the edge of the hill and I can hang my feet down and facing the wind turbine I was talking about.
🍊 Orange Cocoa
Talking about the drinks... Most of us for some reason went for some fruity, non-coffee beverage. I love cocoa so I was gonna order that but something caught my eyes combined with asking a staff, what people like to order here most and same thing as an answer 'Orange Cocoa'..
It's basically cocoa drink with a splash of orange syrup in it. I didn't expect it to be good really but just wanted to give it a try because it sounds kinda rare to me. Well, turned out, it was pretty good I would say. Like you eat an orange flavored chocolate bar. Though, would I actually order again, meh #lol I love pure cocoa more!
💚 Family fun!
It's 7 of us went there. A few cousins, aunt, uncle and myself. Seems like we all love the atmosphere of the cafe. It's green, it's quiet, up in the mountain so for sure great air quality. The weather was also great. Even we're there around afternoon, we didn't feel the heat at all. I would say, we all enjoyed our visit to the Cedar Cafe.
