CHEERS π» TO 100th PROMPT ON HL COMMUNITY!
At times everything just seems to be happening so fast. At times it is always hard to believe if not that one has experienced it firsthand when you see a fetus that was given birth to grow so quickly, count ages, and have the same height as you. So time flies by so fast.
Who would even say that we have spent another 37 days out of the New Year we celebrated just like yesterday and that almost 10% of the New Year's count has gone? In no time we get to 50% and then the year will be over again.
The Hive Learners community has been like a home for me and I appreciate my time over here. I remember how I joined the community sometime around the year 2022. How I started with the initiative and also joined the weekly prompt. I joined the prompt early around 5 weeks or lower. And since then I have been having a great time with the community prompt.
Another thing I appreciate so much about the community is the room it gives to battle writer's block. Most times the cause of writer's block is a lack of topics to focus on. But the weekly prompt has been a great aid in that aspect. At least you got 3 nice topics to ponder and write on for the week.
So far so good. We have done this for 100 weeks and it's worth a celebration. It is a milestone to be precise. And we are looking forward to many more milestones to come.
Just like in life, everything can't be sweet forever. There will come some rough and tough times and also there will come some easy and nice times. So above all what matters is surviving those times so that you can have a story to tell when the storm is over.
Hive Learners' topics are cool but that doesnβt mean all of their topics are easy to write. There are times when I don't even attempt some when I have racked my brain for the whole deadline and at the end then I came up with nothing.
I remember one that came up recently about writing on a face to be on naira notes. I couldnβt even think of any. So I just had to put that energy into writing for the next prompt.
For some topics where I write and hardly have to restrict my word count to go above 1000, but if I am to write 5000 words on the topic I will continue writing. But who would want to read and engage in that? π.
So I will be sharing one most liked prompts and one most difficult prompts I wrote on. And I will detail some reasons behind the ease and difficulties too.
Though there are many interesting ones, I can't keep discussing them all, so I just had to pick randomly.
Most liked prompt || LOOKING FORWARD
Suyus farms was a topic I wrote in response to the prompt. Since I had to look forward to better days. I have no better days for now than to see my business grow and yield a lot of profits. I am starting small. So I have to set targets, visions and missions to be accomplished.
I am happy to say that out of the three missions I looked forward to achieving, I already got one accomplished. The post title is the proposed name of my farm and by God's grace, I already got it registered under the Corporate Affairs Commission as my business name. And I keep looking forward to achieving the rest also. Setting a target in this prompt and making me feel ambitious is one reason why I love it.
Most difficult || JUST AN ADVENTURE
The city of Doha was one of the topics I had a hard time writing on. And this is because I had to take an imaginary adventure to where I had never been to or even dreamt of visiting anytime soon. First was the imaginary pains I got from visiting these places spiritually π. And then another difficult situation was when I had to detail the places I wanted to visit. I had to go do a lot of research, get pictures, and all sorts before I could round up the post.
Conclusion
I am grateful to God that made it easy for us to accomplish this milestone and it's just a stepping stone to another great one. I appreciate the teamwork and nonstop dedication toward the growth of the community over the years. It's well appreciated and we look forward to better days ahead.
This is my response to the hive learners community weekly featured content on Hive for the week 100 edition 1 and the topic to be discussed is 100 WEEKS OF MEMORIES
