Once again, I'd like to extend a warm welcome to all of my wonderful readers. I discussed why I love the Christmas season in my earlier article and why I think it's the best festival in the world. You can read about it here if you miss this post.
I didn't have any significant Christmas plans while I was still a single man; the only thing I had planned was to attend my high school reunion. I appreciate going because it allows me to spend time with my high school friends, with whom I enjoy exchanging fresh ideas and having a great time.
To support the school's welfare and a new project, we used to donate little money for the reunion.
Our set stands out from the rest since we have consistently produced new projects for my high school for more than 14 years.
Throwback Of Last Year's
Christmas
Since I am now married and must plan for my family, I had to adjust some of my plans for last year and 2020. I was unable to attend the high school reunion; instead, my family and I travelled to see my sister in another state.
It was a unique occasion because it was my little princess first time visiting another state.
We left on December 24 and I got to my sister's place that same day. The trip only took two hours.
My family and my sister's family spent Christmas Day at two fantastic venues. The first was called Chicken Republic, where everyone consumed a full chicken and chips. The four kids divided up a whole chicken among themselves. I enjoyed every part of the chicken.
The second location was a big restaurant, they hosted families with interesting shows, featuring some local artists, comedians and dancers.
The kids were so happy that when it was time to leave, they didn't want to. They have a section with various toys and games for kids. All of the toys were available for them to play with.
I was glad for the kids since we could introduce them to some entertainment that we weren't able to experience as children.
This Year's Christmas Plans
The top item on the list is going to the beach, and my family and I plan to go to Kuramo beach ( located on Lagos Island, Nigeria).
I love the location, and the management there is excellent.
On December 24, we will depart from our home.
My wife and I had the idea to prepare food at home and take it with us to the beach.
I will ride a horse, go swimming, and drink Hennessy at the beach. After having fun, we'll stay the night and depart the next day ( which will be on Christmas day)
The second thing I have planned is to visit the cinema. We will leave the beach early on July 25th and go there to see some good movies. Even though I'm not a big movie fan, I have been seeing ads for interesting films that my favourite Cinema in my city will be displaying on Christmas Day.
Change Of Plans
I have been saving for my December flexing since the beginning of October. However, unforeseen expenses popped up at the beginning of this month that required financial care, so I had to use the money I had set aside for Christmas enjoyment.
Now I have changed the plans to include a trip to Olumo Rock, a great historical rock located on a mountain in Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria.
Since I have been there before and I am aware that some reservations have been made there, my family and I will be going there.
After the visit to Olumo Rock, I'm going to a concert which will be hosted by Snail Cafe that is primarily for couples and has lots of giveaways and prizes to be won. Since Plan A was interrupted by an unplanned situation, I quickly made plans for Plan B so that I wouldn't miss my Christmas enjoyment.
