Hello everyone, how are you doing today? This is going to be Week 16, Edition 02 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last week Saturday we had the last hangout that was just so much fun we did not want it to come to an end. We are on our first topic for the week, "SOCIAL MEDIA ON RELATIONSHIPS”. This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about social media and how they have affected relationships.
We got to read different opinions and saw the different ways social media had negative effects as well as positive effects on relationships. In the end, it all boiled down to individuals deciding just what social media could do. It was a great topic indeed.
We went through every entry post, every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w16e2 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. This author told us about both sides of social media, how it could be a valuable tool in building relationships and it could also be quite destructive if we were not careful in the handling. She gave a list of things that could work out right with social media and also how things could possibly go wrong. It was a great read, you can also read it yourself in the full post.
WHATSAPP IS A DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD IN A ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP by @kingpost99
This author spoke mainly about the dangers of social media, Whatsapp to be exact. He told a story where the messaging app had a pivotal role in the destruction of someone’s relationship. But then, that is another consequence of social media, if we are not careful, it can take control and ruin things for us.

This author listed many of the benefits social media adds to our lives, from bringing us closer, not just to our loved ones and friends, but also to the entire world. With social media, the world becomes smaller and life becomes a bit easier. Truly great indeed.
