Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This is going to be Week 78, Edition 01 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to come to an end. We are currently on our first topic for this week which is, “FOUR MONTHS MORE”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “REMNANTS OF CHILDHOOD”. This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the major things they had learned in childhood that were still very much vital to them as adults, and how they came about such lessons or skills.
We got to see the different ways many of us were raised as kids and how that affecetd the course of our lives. Many of us still relied heavily on a lot of the training we recieved and we’re where we are as a result of the decisions born thereof. It was an enlightening topic indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w77e3 tags. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. For this author, he told us about the great lessons he got from the two strong women in his life. Lessons like humility, patience and the values of education and respect. He knows he can’t always apply them in his life, but he tries his best to always be the good man they raised him to be. Such things aren’t easy, but they’re not impossible either.
THE INFLUENCE OF CHILDHOOD HABITS: SHAPING OUR LIVES AND CHOICES @bhattg
This author told us about how he learned control right from childhood. He refrained from using abusive or insultive words, no matter how angry he got. And not just with that, he was also able to hone his control in other areas of life as well, training himself to stay away from things that could potentially harm him.
