The first topic of the initiative was setting SMART goals, followed by Hive guidelines and markdowns, and then Hive keys and security. The tasks submitted by the newbies have shown their utmost understanding of the topics. Just like I did with the previous tasks, I'm going to give my report regarding their third task.
The third task was centred on Hive keys and security. Hive keys, especially the active, owner, and master keys, require optimum protection to safeguard our assets and the account as a whole from hackers and thieves.
As always, the materials for this topic were given out to the newbies, and the live meeting tutorial was handled by @vickoly on the Newbies Discord server. He took his time to explain to the newbies the functions of Hive keys, the proper ways to safeguard them, and the necessary actions to take if the keys are leaked out to fraudsters.
He also talked about the importance of having a good trustee account.
A trustee is a person who can help you recover your account if anything goes wrong. This person must be active on Hive and, as the name implies, someone you can trust.
The newbies were taught how to change their trustee and how to change their Hive keys. Believe me, this is very relevant to anyone who loves not only the assets in their account but the account as a whole. We all know what it takes to nurture a Hive account and also maintain a good reputation in the process.
Task Assessment
At the end of the tutorials, the newbies were given certain questions to test their understanding of what they learned. As the team leader, I took my time to read through their responses, and I was impressed by all of them. It showed their clear understanding of the tutorial.
I also noticed a general improvement in their posts compared to the previous ones. Most of them made good use of markdowns and general tags, just like they were taught. However, some of them forgot the right application of certain markdowns. These little things may seem unimportant or time-wasting, but they are things that add to the success of a quality post on Hive or any other platform.

Everyone except @niranaway completed and submitted their task on time. Niran has explained that he is facing electricity challenges, which is a very understandable issue in our country. I pray he overcomes this hurdle soon and gets back to being as active as before.
My team has been very cooperative on this journey. Their unwavering dedication to gaining knowledge is truly inspiring and motivating. I pray that they all achieve their goals and fulfil their dreams.
Words of encouragement are very necessary, as Hive requires more of mental effort than physical effort. So, I won't fail to share a few words with my team members:
✅ Hive requires consistency and good connections. Posting every day may not be necessary unless the posts are of high quality, but creating high-quality posts at least three times a week can be very encouraging. The focus should be on quality rather than quantity.
✅ Also, Hive values our creative side. Doing something new and unique will make you stand out more than just following the crowd. If you're creative, producing quality content every day may not be very difficult, as long as you stay true to yourself.
✅ Don't give up just because you're discouraged by the rewards. The truth is, almost everyone on Hive goes through that at some point. No one is a perfect Hiver, and no one has it all figured out.
✅ Remember to make good friends, as they can accelerate your growth. You should start by connecting with your fellow newbies:)
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to @starstrings01 for giving me this amazing opportunity. @nkemakonam89 , your love and support mean the world to me. You are the best mummy!
Thank you also to my boss, @vickoly , and my fellow team leaders. I extend my appreciation to the sponsors of #newbieshive and my wonderful team members.
And of course, I want to thank you too, forgot taking the time to read this report. Your support is truly valued. Thank you!
