Time has flown really fast and the year 2023 has now becomes a memory to take a look back. And if I were to say, last year has been very decent with me compared to the years prior to it, mainly due to the Covid pandemic that has really mess the life and livelihoods of many people so I hope for the good things to continue this year. At the same time, I know that the last year was good to me because of the help of many people both online and in real life so I'm witting this post to show my appreciation to them.
To begin with, I would like to express my gratitude to my mom that has continued that has been always there for me and my sister despite being a single mom since 2008 and even when I am already old enough to stand up with my two feet, she still tends for my needs, making sure that I always have a warm food to eat on breakfast and when I go home from work. She also took care of washing my clothes and ironing them to make sure that I can present myself decently in front of other people. There was a time that we told her that were already fine so she can take it easy and find her own happiness but what she told us that time that just seeing us doing good in life was more than enough for her happiness and for that, she will always be my MVP when it comes to the people that I'm grateful for.
Following through will be my friends, some of which I've been together since I was a child that were not only there at good and funny times but also there to listen to my problems and worries which I hide from my mom so that I do not overburden her. There was also Angelo, one of my college classmates who months ago, pitch a website project for me to work together with him which provides me additional revenue. Supposed to be, we expect to finish the project this December but holiday season mainly make us really busy. There was only some finishing touches to be made so we expect it to be done this month.

I also would like to thank my workmates on my current job for being patient on supervising me and teaching me the ropes of the job when I was just starting. They have teach me a lot of things that helps me to be able to keep my job despite not really having prior work experience on it.
When it comes online, there are also lots of people that I unexpectedly am really grateful for starting with my fellow gamers in Splinterlands.
There was @captainwhoco who has been the one in charge with all of the scholars of Balthazar Guild which I am part of. He has been there since the start of the program and has put many efforts to keep the program alive despite the challenges of the bear market. Few of his efforts include upgrading the scholars deck from bronze to max level and requesting enough SPS delegations to maximize our earning profits. Aside from that, he would also rent for some missing cards for each scholar account and allow them to enter tournaments to boost their earning potential.
I also want to take @aruchard who runs New Bot Order which provides its members DEC to help them perform better in their brawls and give some more when members win all their matches. What's more is that he even delegated to me one of his RUNI and Arkemis the Bear which really helps to win my matches.
Given my common land, I want to thank @aaros which is something that I do not expect to have ever since I played Splinterlands and as 1.5 gameplay has started, I was able to use my cards to alternately farm between grains and SPS that gives me additional earning opportunity.
Another person that I liked to thank was @shawnnft which was my fellow scholar in Balthazar who recently became the subleader, assigning us to brawls and reminding us to fill them. He was also the one that joins me on New Bot Order and the one man army playing the aruchard accounts in brawls manually.
Being part of the same group as shawn, many of the people he mention are also the people that I know so I do not want to make it redundant to call all of them again in this post but if they were to read this, I want to also express my outmost gratitude to them.
Within Hive, I was previously a part of the Newbie Initiative where I have learn new things about Hive and I would like to thank @moremoney28 which was our team leader during that time. He always checks the progression of our task for each week and reminds us before the deadline. He also review our post and tells us the part that we can improve. Not many of our members during that time has last for whatever reasons but for us that was able to stay and persevere are all thanks for his efforts.
I can't thank this people enough for all the help that they have done to me with the past year and I hope that when the time comes, I'll be also be there to offer them my helping hands when the time that they needs it.
That was all for me. Thank you for reading my post and see you at the next one.
