So some may call it Monday Madness, others Monday Mania and most people hate Mondays- just like Garfield did every Monday in the comics, but I have always loved Mondays, for it is a new and fresh day to do better than you did yesterday- last week.
It's your 'second' chance to improve things- whether that be you, your life, or the world. Either way, have another go, practice and as you all know, practice makes perfect.
And talking about practice, here I am practicing my skills at blogging on the #HiveBlockchain (blogging for the first time ever), in the #IamAliveChallenge created by the wonderful @ErikGussafson known far and wide as @Flaxz.
Now, if you want to know more about this warm and compassionate community then read more here @flaxz/glmrrjya and you're welcome to join in and share your stories, fears, dreams, successes and failures with all of us.
And a HUGE, big fat welcome to all of the adventurous people that have just joined us to #thriveOnHive! 😀 #Hive5 to you guys!
So I am so thankful to be alive while so many people all over the world are suffering for so many, many reasons, many are due to climate change, corruption within their governments, food shortages, hunger, drought, war, homelessness and too many other reasons that billions of people are suffering needlessly.
I also cry for the billions of imprisoned and tortured animals that are also unfairly suffering from all of the situations listed (amd many more), but also from the inhumane, agonising and terrifying deaths that they are bred for.
Billions of animals are needlessly slaughtered in the name of food, but yet billions of people all over the are starving and why?
Because millions of those slaughtered animals are thrown out. Literally dumped, buried and burnt alive in pits to rot.
https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2020/aug/13/3000-sheep-die-after-live-exports-rejected-by-saudi-arabia this is just one of the many examples and Australia being one of the largest exporters in the world of Live animals (that are usually DISEASED AND DEAD by the time they get there...) has for many varied reason over the last few years, has had literal shiploads of animals being rejected and buried alive...
This is the excuse from the latest one just a few days ago... leaving some animals without vaccination against.... three diseases; HS (Hemorrhagic septicemia), PPR (Peste des petits ruminants) and Rift Valley fever. Anyone ever heard of Covid19?..... Perhaps Sars?... Or what about Mers....? To name but a few...
And then on top of that, is the unimaginable amount of wasted food from crops.
In fact, there is NO shortage of food, there is only a serious shortage of intelligence and compassion from the people that have the ability to dish out the food to the world that needs it.
Anyhooo, didn't plan on saying any of that at all, but there you have it. I am an animal lover and it it my sole purpose in life to help stop animal cruelty of every sort, to protect and preserve Mother Natures greatest treasures by creating awareness of, educating and enlightening humans about the plight of the animals that we all supposedly love so much.
There, I've said it. I AM an ANIMAL LOVER and ADVOCATE.

today is the first day of the rest of your life.

And so as always, I leave you with a photo that I took somewhere sometime...Actually, it's a Stingray at Kianinny Bay in Tathra in about 2015 that I took it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tathra,_New_South_Wales
