The beginning of these posts was my My Life Just Hit a Brick Wall at High Velocity, on the Cusp of My 50th Birthday: Mid Life Crisis 101 post. I link that post because I want to give my readers some useful context for what I write in these posts.
Warm greetings all! 🙏 💚
Today feels like a very full day as I'm sitting here up at the Flow House typing this. Living in an intentional community definitely does have a great many things which call my attention throughout the day.
My morning superfood fire coffee and Hive post was paused again this morning because of a small community check-in and logistics meeting at Tutu (the main community building) at 9AM. While there I coordinated with Ano for him to help me set up the shadecloth for my plants in the new section of his nursery. He wouldn't have had time to do it this morning if I didn't agree to unload his truck for him after market yesterday, which I did after finishing my morning Hive post. Before he arrived I macheted the cane grass on the perimeter on the forest side, and pulled weeds that were growing onto the groundcloth. He finally did appear, and we got the shadecloth up, which made me feel great, because my plants now had some protection from the blasting sun.
After getting that done, I returned to the Flow House to finish and post my Index4Index Daily Inspired Motivation: We Rise by Lifting Others. Once I got that done, I caught up on other Hive stuff before I went down (off the lava) to unload ter truck with Fiona, who had agreed to help me do it.
Gecko friends as I worked on my morning Hive post and enjoyed my superfood fire coffee. 😁
I didn't give Fiona an exact time, so I wasn't surprised when she didn't show up immediately. I decided to start unloading myself, which was fist just moving several racks of younger coconuts. Fiona did finally appear, and she helped me with the rest. As we worked, we talked about various things, and at one point I mentioned the sessions that I do. She was very curious, so I described to her what I do. She now would like a session. I told her that I'd be happy to work with her, but at the moment my priority is getting my nursery spaces set up. Thankfully she'll be here for another two months, so we have time.
When we finished unloading the truck, I cleaned the upper coco bar, which is right next to where Ano parks his truck, and chopped a bunch of halved coconuts, then dumped a wheelbarrow full of coconut husks and shells on some bamboo for mulch. Keeping the upper (there is a lower one too, next to Tutu) coconut bar clean is now my chore, again, which I don't mind, as I'm very quick and efficient, so it doesn't take me long.
Miria hunted me down again to go play in the pool with her, which I did for about an hour or so. The sun was blasting, so I got a bit sunburnt. She seems to always want me to go in the pool with her...😂.
When I finally got out of the pool, I went down to the new section of Ano's nursery where we put up the shadecloth to collect and move all the weeds and cans grass that I had macheted. I also brought a long dried bamboo culm to prop up the shadecloth in the middle. I used a gallon pot at the top of the shadecloth so that the bamboo would not poke a hole in the cloth.
After that I went back to the Landing again to catch up on Hive stuff again, then I made myself a yummy sourdough sandwich with red pepper chicken sausage, pepperjack cheese, spicy brown mustard, and some alfalfa and garlic sprouts. It was super delicious and it very much hit the spot.
After eating I went to work in my old nursery behind the Landing again until just before sunset. It's still daunting, as there is still so much to do, but it's getting there. It looks a lot better than it did when I started.
When I finished that for the day, I went back up to the Flow House to continue (I had started it earlier) working on My 20th Monday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: My Hive Growth Continues Nice and Steady, Even with Moving Back to The Jungle at GaiaYoga. I only got part way done, because we had a once-weekly logistics meeting (much longer and more thorough than the one I mentioned above) that went from 6PM to about 7:30PM. This was my first one of these meetings since I've been back. When I was here for the first round, they were usually held during the afternoon, not in the evening, so it threw me for a loop a bit, but I rolled with it.
When that meeting was finally done, I made a bee line straight for the Flow House again to continue with, and finish my Monday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update. As soon as I posted that, I started this post. So you see, it's been quite a busy day both on and off of Hive.
And now, I think I've finally come to the end of this post, as nothing else really notable is coming to my mind. Whew, what a crazy full day! Time to wind down and relax before sleep (which I still haven't been doing well). I wish you all an absolutely glorious night! G'Night for now, and until tomorrow! 🙏 💚 ⚡ 💥 🔥 👣 🌱

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚
