The beginning of these posts was my My Life Just Hit a Brick Wall at High Velocity, on the Cusp of My 50th Birthday: Mid Life Crisis 101 post. I link that post because I want to give my readers some useful context for what I write in these posts.
Warm greetings all! 🙏 💚
I worked my cute naked tush off today, that is for sure! My Flow House/superfood fire coffee/Hive post morning ritual was as enjoyable and nourishing as always, and culminated in my Index4Index Daily Inspired Motivation: Success Is Fun! post. It was raining on and off all morning, so I stayed up at the Flow House a bit longer than usual today after finishing my post and fire coffee.
Once I wandered down from the Flow House, and walked to Tutu to meet up with Ano, I collected a nice big handful of Melochia leaves, from trees that we cut yesterday, for Zappa Crappa (the composting toilet next to the Landing) before we started working. And work we did!
Ano and I did two intense periods of work today, the first of which was cutting and clearing a good chunk of trees, vines, and shrubs in the large fenced-in chicken coop area. We worked for almost three hours, and got quite a lot done, which was very satisfying for us both.
After working so intensely for so long, I took a shower to clean up, then went up to the Flow House to catch up on Hive, and rest for a good bit. I stayed up there for maybe two hours. Because I still haven't been sleeping well at night, I also closed my eyes and took a short mini nap, which most definitely helped.
When I finally came down from the Flow House, I was still a bit tired, but I had enough energy in me to do another short bust of work. For this round, Fiona and I helped Ano to dig up bananas that had been showing symptoms of bunchie top (a viral infection). I'm a very efficient digger, so I dug up three clumps.
After that short but intense bit of work, I wanted to take more of my plants down to my new nursery area. I was able to get two more full loads of plants in the wheelbarrow down to my nursery before it began to get dark.
With the decent of darkness, I took another shower then went to the Landing to cook myself some food. I've gotten into the habit of not eating anything for most of the day after my superfood fire coffee in the morning. Today I ate some abiu and Bolivian mangosteen in the afternoon, so I did get something in my stomach, but I was quite ravenous by this point. I made myself a nice big serving of eggs mixed with ground beef, salt and spices, onions, sweet peppers, tomatoes, and pepper jack cheese. It was super delicious, and really hit the spot! While I was making and eating my food, I was also boiling more water to put in gallon jars for drinking water.
After food and boiling water, I came up to the Flow House to begin this post. I'm definitely pretty tired and sleepy, so I won't go on too much longer here tonight. Aside from my lack of sleep, I'm still feeling bloody amazing, and seemingly better every day. I feel like my vital life energy is positively bubbling now, so yeah, I feel fantastic!
Emily, another friend of Kaï's, and with whom I've worked before in sessions, texted me today to ask if I could give her another session today or tomorrow. I told her that tomorrow would work. The one notable challenge with her getting here to GaiaYoga is that she doesn't drive, and she lives quite far away, at another intentional community in Kalapana. She's going to see about getting a ride here, but I don't get the feeling that we'll be doing the session tomorrow. We'll see how it goes. I do hope she is able to find a way here, as I remember that she loved the first session, and felt it was very beneficial.
Have I mentioned how grateful I am to be back here at GaiaYoga, barefooted and naked, in my jungle community once again? Yeah, so much! I absolutely will not take it for granted again! I love my life here inexpressibly much!
It's been three months today since Kaï ended our relationship, and I can say that I'm doing very well. I still don't answer or respond when she calls or texts, for now at least. I do love her, but I really don't want contact with her right now. I don't know if that will change or not. I know she loves and misses me, but oh well, she made her choice.
I can't believe it's been 90 days since I began these posts! Holy jumping fuckmuffins does time seem to go fast! I'm also astounded that I was able to post at least once, and often more, every day since February 1st, even through the breakup and all the super challenging transitions over the past few months. Hive is important to me, can you tell? 😉😁
OK dear friends, I'm exhausted and very sleepy, so I'm going to sign off and say good night for now. I appreciate you all so much! 🙏 💚 ⚡ 💥 🔥 👣
