Have you been in a situation where you have to accomplish or do several activities within the day? Not that you don't have enough days to get them done, but you only want to maximize your time. Running some errands can be exhausting, especially if you have plenty of activities to finish. But no matter how tiring it was, a #WednesdayWalk to run some errands can be satisfying too.
Planning your day ahead of time can help when you have a lot of tasks to accomplish within the day. As for me, I had to do several activities within the day to meet deadlines and also make my day productive. As you all know, I am already having my On the Job Training (OJT) as a graduating college student and this made me busier. But the fact that I am already a trainee did not stop me from running a few errands outside the office.
I had to wake up early in the morning to catch on the bus on the way to my college university. Like what I always said, I live two hours away from my school which means I am the one who need to adjust. But before hopping into the public transportation, I had to go to our Barangay Hall to ask for a certificate that I am a First Time Job-Seeker. Later on, I will explain why I needed this piece of paper.
The hall was only a few minutes away from our house and it's an advantage to me since I can easily access it. After requesting for the said certification, I had to wait for another few minutes for printing and signing. While waiting, I looked around the office and saw some interesting stuffs.
I saw some synthetic flowers placed on vases, and they are pretty good as table decorations. Also, I saw some picture frames that contain the names and faces of our newly-elected provincial and municipal leaders.
And when I heard them call my name, it was my cue that the paper was already signed and sealed. After that, I already ride on a bus going to our provincial capital (Iba, Zambales).
It only took one and a half hour before I got there. And I went to the office of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) to pass my requirements and apply for membership. This is why I need the First-Time Job Seeker certificate.
I did not have enough time to take pictures in the PhilHealth office since I got busy filling out the application forms. It's already pass lunch when I finished the application process, and I felt my tummy asking for food already.
As I was walking around, I cannot decide where to eat. I saw the large signage of Jollibee but when I got there, there is no available seat. So I had to think again. And right next to Jollibee is MC Donald's.
I did not think twice when I saw the vacant tables, so I already entered and ordered my food. I got myself a Chicken Fillet, Fries, and Coke Float. These are my all-time favorite combo here.
I started eating and enjoyed the foods even though I am alone. And in my head, I was already planning where to go next after finishing my food. I checked my favorite thrift store if they are on sale, and luckily, they were.
I decided to visit the store just a few steps away from MC Donald's to check out some trousers or slacks and even shoes for my training attire at the office. Actually, we are advised to wear decent and formal clothes, and it means I had to check some items that will surely make me look professional.
Here's a sneak peak on my quick thrifty shopping:
My entry for the Wednesday Walk for today isn't the usual food and travel content, but just a random day when I needed to run some errands. This walk journey is tiring, yet I was so happy to accomplish all of the things that I needed to do.
I cannot express how thankful I am to those who have taken the time to read what I have written today. Your support means everything to me. Please acknowledge the sincere thanks I feel for each and every one of you. I hope to see you on my next blog and look forward to it!
