This is my entry for @bliss11's contest. As I take plenty of pictures and also play with Gimp/Photoscape a lot, this is a must-enter for me. For me, my goal is one more image to use in Redbubble, TeePublic and DeviantArt.
To get this image, I used Lunapic and alternated the "Candy" and "Space" filters a couple of times until I liked the result. I haven't decided whether this one goes into my shops or not, but it was my favorite result when playing with this image:
This picture really wasn't up to being used for a whole lot other than identification of the butterfly. Yes, it's a cool picture, but I can't use it on products or anything commercially. It's simply not good enough for that.
So, maybe I could use filters to do something better.
Here are some of the versions I found when playing with my filters. Which is your favorite?
Deep Dream Generator
Photoscape
Gimp
Lunapic
This one (above) got an additional edit on Photoscape which made it really nice.
These two were both done on the "Space" setting, but the below one was filtered with "Candy" first. This gave me the idea of stacking them further - which gave me my actual entry.
Image taken in June 2020 with my Nikon D7200.
