In the Chessable Masters 2024, youngster Deniz "the Menace" Lazavik defeated not only Anish Giri and Hikaru Nakamura (and sent them to division II), but also won against MVL! Today he will face the surprise semifinalist, GM Jose Martinez from Peru who had won the Play In-tournament and defeated Ian Nepo!
