ENGLISH CONTENT
Hello to all the members of this community and anime lovers, especially the BL genre! A few months ago, my friend @tegoshei and I decided to do what would be our first drawing collaboration, where we explored what it would be like to do a fanart together for the first time for both of us. It was such a rewarding experience that we decided on a second collaboration, only unlike the previous time, where we opted for traditional drawing, for the next one we chose the digital method. This was the wonderful result:
Both @tegoshei and I are big BL fans, so choosing a series from this genre was exciting, especially since it was Junjou Romantica. For many who like that genre, that anime was the first they watched, but in my case, I'd already seen tons, but I did get hooked at the time because it felt like I was watching a soap opera with so much drama 😆
Luckily for me, my friend dared to try digital drawing, even though it's not her strong suit. It was also perfect for me because I'm away from home, and instead of bringing along traditional drawing materials (like I did last time), I brought my tablet and was excited to draw something different. After searching for several chibi-style drawings from the anime, the one I chose was a very funny scene of the protagonists Usagi and Misaki.
I was glad that my friend had unwittingly chosen my favorite image 😊 We decided I'd do the first part and then send her the editable file. To do this, I used Medibang Paint, which I'm most familiar with these days. The character I'd draw was Usami Akihiko, aka "Usagi," who is one of my favorites. After creating the sketch, I created the lineart of the drawing, adding a few details to make it different from the reference image. I thought it would be fun to place my signature inside the cigarette smoke.

Since the drawing was in black and white, we decided to color it. So I chose colors similar to those Usagi wears in the anime. After painting the drawing, I created an extra layer for the shadows and selected a simple color for the background, because we didn't want to get bogged down with that 😅 Once my part was done, I expanded the canvas and exported the editable file so @tegoshei would have access to all the layers and could elaborate on her drawing of Misaki.

I'm really satisfied with the result, especially because it's an anime that was very important to me at the time. Not to mention, it's fun collaborating with my friend @tegoshei, so I'm looking forward to what we can do together next. 💕 Stay tuned for her post about her drawing process. 😌 And you? ¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes del anime, sobre todo del género BL! Hace unos meses atrás, mi amiga @tegoshei y yo, nos animamos a realizar lo que sería nuestra primera colaboración de dibujo, en donde exploramos lo que sería realizar un fanart en conjunto por primera vez para ambas. Fue una experiencia tan gratificante, que decidimos una segunda colaboración, sólo que a diferencia de la vez anterior, en donde optamos por el dibujo tradicional, para el siguiente elegimos el método digital. Éste, fue el maravilloso resultado:
Tanto @tegoshei como yo, somos fanáticas del BL, así que escoger una serie de éste género, fue emocionante y más siendo Junjou Romantica. Para muchos que gustan de ese género, ese anime fue el primero que vieron, pero en mi caso, ya había visto muchísimos, pero si que me envicié en su tiempo, porque me sentía como viendo una telenovela con tanto drama 😆
Por suerte para mí, mi amiga se atrevió a dibujar en digital, a pesar de que no ser su fuerte. Fue perfecto para mí también porque ando fuera de casa y en lugar de traerme materiales para dibujar de forma tradicional (como hice la vez pasada), me traje mi tableta y me entusiasmaba dibujar algo distinto. Luego de buscar varios dibujos en estilo chibi del anime, el seleccionado fue una escena muy divertida de los protagonistas Usagi y Misaki.
Me alegré de que mi amiga escogiese sin saber la imagen que había sido mi favorita 😊 Decidimos que yo haría la primera parte y luego, le pasaría el archivo editable. Para ello, utilicé el programa Medibang Paint, con el cual ando más familiarizada actualmente. El personaje que yo dibujaría, sería a Usami Akihiko, alias "Usagi", quien es uno de mis favoritos. Luego de elaborar el boceto, hice el lineart del dibujo agregando algunos detalles para hacerlo diferente a la imagen de referencia. Me pareció divertido colocar mi firma dentro del humo del cigarrillo.

Como el dibujo estaba en blanco y negro, nosotras pensamos en colorearlo. De modo que seleccioné los colores parecidos a los que Usagi tiene en el anime. Tras pintar el dibujo, creé una capa extra para las sombras y seleccioné un color simple para el fondo, porque no queríamos enrollarnos con eso 😅 Una vez que mi parte estuvo lista, amplié el lienzo y exporté el archivo editable para que @tegoshei tuviera acceso a todas las capas y pudiera elaborar su dibujo de Misaki.

Estoy realmente satisfecha con el resultado y más porque se trata de un anime que en su tiempo, fue muy importante para mí. Sin mencionar que es divertido colaborar con mi amiga @tegoshei, así que espero con ansias, lo siguiente que podamos hacer juntas 💕 Estén al pendiente de la publicación de ella sobre su proceso de dibujo 😌 ¿Y ustedes? ¿Han hecho este tipo de colaboraciones? 🎨
