Hey amigos de #hive y #alienart, espero estén teniendo una maravillosa semana, el día de hoy les muestro esta Comisión recién terminada de un bebé alienígena, el cual es el mismo alienígena que dibuje anteriormente, sólo que ahora este cliente me pidió realizarlo como un bebe. Este cliente dijo que pronto empezará la historia de este personaje, el cual lo representará a él en esta comunidad de marcianos que está creando, a los cuales ilustrar poco a poco, siendo esta una maravillosa oportunidad para mí, para ir agarrando experiencia en esto de diseño y creación de personajes.
Hey #hive and #alienart friends, I hope you are having a wonderful week, today I show you this just finished commission of a baby alien, which is the same alien I drew before, only now this client asked me to do it as a baby. This client said that soon he will start the story of this character, which will represent him in this community of martians that he is creating, which he will illustrate little by little, being this a wonderful opportunity for me, to gain experience in this design and character creation.
En esta ocasión sólo pidió que el bebé marciano tuviese los ojos grandes similar a la mirada del gato con botas, yo decidí realizarle una especie de cuna similar a una nave espacial, y un pequeño broche con las iniciales MC en su pañal, mismas iniciales que lleva en la gorra en el diseño previo, ya que estas siglas significan "Comunidad Marciana". También opte por pequeñas manchas de amarillo, similares a las pecas y lo que le da un tono más suave y lizo, además de un chupete, para así tener un diseño más elaborado de este bebé marciano, incluso decidí agregar estrellitas en el fondo, para darle ese aspecto espacial al acabado final y que sin duda le dio un hermoso toque galáctico.
This time he only asked for the baby Martian to have big eyes similar to the look of the cat in boots, I decided to make him a kind of cradle similar to a spaceship, and a small brooch with the initials MC on his diaper, the same initials that he wears on his cap in the previous design, since these initials mean "Martian Community". I also opted for small spots of yellow, similar to freckles and which gives it a softer and smoother tone, plus a pacifier, in order to have a more elaborate design of this Martian baby, I even decided to add stars in the background, to give that space look to the final finish and that certainly gave a beautiful galactic touch.

- Empecé la base del bebé marciano con el tono azul y el lápiz digital, diseñando desde la pose hasta la nave.
I started the base of the martian baby with the blue tone and the digital pencil, designing from the pose to the ship.
- Con el morado definir más el dibujo, agregando nuevos elementos y definiendo mejor el dibujo.
With the purple further define the drawing, adding new elements and defining the drawing better.
- Con el negro y la tinta china realice el trabajo de línea en todo el dibujo con sumo cuidado, borrando pequeños trazos.
With the black and India ink do the line work all over the drawing very carefully, erasing small strokes.
- Rellené el dibujo con sus respectivos tonos, gris en la nave, verde en el marcador y azul en su colchón.
I filled in the drawing with their respective shades, gray in the ship, green in the marker and blue in his mattress.
- Realice la capa de sombra, aplicando un tono morado oscuro en todo el dibujo para darle volumen al dibujo.
Made the shadow layer, applying a dark purple tone all over the drawing to give volume to the drawing.
- Empecé a detallar al marciano, utilizando diversos tonos de verde en todo su cuerpo.
I started detailing the Martian, using different shades of green all over his body.
- Detallé el pañal, chupete y la nave espacial en otra capa, dándole más color y luz, obteniendo su buen acabado.
I detailed the diaper, pacifier and the spaceship in another layer, giving it more color and light, obtaining its good finish.
- En una nueva capa detallé el colchoncito de la cuna, el broche y los ojos del bebé marciano.
In a new layer I detailed the crib mattress, the brooch and the Martian baby's eyes.
- Para el fondo realicé un degradado de rosado,amarillo, azul, morado y negro, para después agregar diversas estrellas de distintos colores y culminar con el procedimiento.
For the background I made a gradient of pink, yellow, blue, purple and black, then I added several stars of different colors and finished with the procedure.
Quedé maravillado con este bebé marciano, y con su aspecto super adorable, lo cual me hace pensar que sus grandes ojos juegan un gran papel en darle este aspecto tan tierno, sin duda adora el resultado de esta comisión, la cual como les comenté previamente espero sea una de varias que están por venir.
I was amazed with this Martian baby, and with his super adorable aspect, which makes me think that his big eyes play a great role in giving him this tender aspect, no doubt he loves the result of this commission, which as I said previously I hope it will be one of several to come.
