Saludos amigos de #hive y #sketchbook, el día de hoy les traigo este dibujo de uno de mis iniciales favoritos, sólo que realizado un poco más a mi estilo, este pequeño Pokemon es chikorita, el inicial tipo planta de la segunda generación del mágico mundo de pokemon, serie infantil que muchos vimos de niños y que a su vez tiene una gran franquicia de juegos. Personalmente soy de los que va directo al inicial de planta al momento de iniciar un juego y escoger a nuestro primer compañero para emprender la aventura, y sólo jugué hasta la quinta generación (Pokemon Blanco y Negro), así que el último inicial de hierba que tuve fue Snivy.
Greetings friends of #hive and #sketchbook, today I bring you this drawing of one of my favorite initials, only made a little more to my style, this little Pokemon is chikorita, the initial plant type of the second generation of the magical world of pokemon, children's series that many saw as children and in turn has a great franchise of games. Personally I'm one of those who goes straight to the plant initial when starting a game and choose our first companion to undertake the adventure, and I only played until the fifth generation (Pokemon Black and White), so the last grass initial I had was Snivy.
El primer juego de pokemon que jugué fue pokemon cristal, así que mi primer pokemon fue chikorita, y sin duda quede enamorado de su forma final, además reiniciaba el juego hasta que me saliera chikorita con sexo femenino, esto es usualmente algo que hago mucho, capturar a los pokemons teniendo en cuenta su aspecto, pokemon es como skitty y glaceon me dedico a buscarlos de género femenino, y pokemons como shinx, amparos y giblet los busco con sexo masculino, y pokemons como altaria y staraptor que no me importa con que sexo salga.
The first pokemon game I played was pokemon crystal, so my first pokemon was chikorita, and without a doubt I was in love with its final form, plus I would restart the game until I got chikorita with female sex, this is usually something I do a lot, capture pokemons taking into account their appearance, pokemon like skitty and glaceon I look for them with female gender, and pokemons like shinx, amparos and giblet I look for them with male gender, and pokemons like altaria and staraptor I don't care what gender they come out with.

- Empecé realizando la base del chipriota con el lápiz digital y el color azul.
I began making the base of the Cypriot with the digital pencil and the blue color.
- Después con el color morado empecé a darle más forma al dibujo, definiendo mejor la boca, patas y la hoja en su cabeza.
Then with the purple color I began to give more form to the drawing, defining better the mouth, paws and the leaf on its head.
- Con la tinta china dura y el tono negro empecé a realizar el trabajo de línea en todo el dibujo.
With the hard Indian ink and the black tone I started to do the line work all over the drawing.
- Eliminé las dos primeras capas y procedí a rellenar el dibujo con sus respectivos tonos.
I removed the first two layers and proceeded to fill the drawing with their respective tones.
- Apliqué una capa de sombras en todo el dibujo para darle volumen.
I applied a layer of shadows all over the drawing to give it volume.
- Detallé el cuerpo de chikorita con diversos tonos de verde y retoques amarillo, además de negro en ciertas áreas para acentuar la sombra.
I detailed the Chikorita's body with various shades of green and yellow touches, plus black in certain areas to accentuate the shadow.
- Detallé los capullos al rededor de su cuello y la gran hoja en su cabeza con diversos tonos de verde y retoques con anaranjado y amarillo. Después detallé los ojos y la boca, como pueden ver los ojos de chikorita son rojos y su pupila es un tono oscuro de rojo y no es negra.
I detailed the cocoons around his neck and the large leaf on his head with various shades of green and touches of orange and yellow. Then I detailed the eyes and mouth, as you can see chikorita's eyes are red and her pupil is a dark shade of red and not black.
- En el fondo realicé un degradado entre anaranjado y amarillo, después realice un patrón de hojas , haciendo referencia a su tipo.
In the background I made a gradient between orange and yellow, then I made a pattern of leaves, referring to its type.

Espero les haya gustado este dibujo de chikorita y no se si tengan la misma interrogante que he tenido yo sobre este pokemon, la cual es "¿qué animal o planta representa chikorita?" , siempre he tenido esa interrogante, hasta pensé que era una fruta mutante, pero hasta el día de hoy no he tenido una respuesta clara a esta pregunta.
