Part(e)2, #5. Best Advice ever received // El mejor consejo jamás recibido

Hello and welcome to my page. This is the day 5 of part 2 of my entry to the 30-day blogging challenge, an initiative of @macchiata and the #bloggingchallenge community. Kindly follow me as i reveal to you the best advice i ever received.

Over the years I've been very emotional about people's situations in life and i as well had the understanding of pleasing others even at my detriment which has led me to deny myself lots of privileges that should have been mine. I set the welfare of people first before i ever think of myself. My paternal grand uncle will always tell me that there's no way i can please everyone in life, no matter how long hard i try. This has been a major hit in my mind ever since then but i never relented.

A lo largo de los años, he sido muy emocional con las situaciones de la vida de las personas y también tuve la comprensión de complacer a los demás incluso en mi detrimento, lo que me ha llevado a negarme muchos privilegios que deberían haber sido míos. A moment came that i gave a woman some money to help take care of her immediate needs for the moment and i did the same to her husband too, though i gave more money to him than the woman since he's the head of his family and he requires more assistance. Later, the woman got so upset through her gestures and i knew the reason was because I didn't appreciate her enough like i did to her husband. I apologized and promise to make it up to her someday.

Llegó un momento en que le di a una mujer algo de dinero para que la ayudara a atender sus necesidades inmediatas por el momento e hice lo mismo con su esposo también, aunque le di más dinero a él que a la mujer ya que él es el cabeza de familia y él requiere más ayuda. Ever since then, she never stop demanding for her remnant amount. I decided not to give her yet to see her reaction,but she showed me her true colour. This brought me to an older friend who advised me that i should never try to please others at the detriment of myself because no matter how you try to please the world, they will never be pleased and even some people may envy and hate you for no reason. From there on, i learnt my lessons. I settled the woman when i had money on me and never branched her house to visit them anymore.

Desde entonces, nunca dejó de exigir lo que le quedaba. Decidí no dárselo todavía para ver su reacción, pero ella me mostró su verdadero color. Of a truth, it's impossible to please everyone around you even in your family cycles. Whoever will be displeased will be displeased totally. This is the raw fact of life. I hope you've been able to understand my point.
