The sun that seeped through my window and touched my skin reminded me why I needed to be here today.
It has been a crazy week in the country with the leaders still caring desperately and being thoughtful as ever toward the citizens not to mention the lovely scorching sun that doesn't burn my skin at all. Everything happening wants me to awwwnn all day long.
Politics is a dirty game, it is common knowledge. If you want to know the real meaning of "Being a Saint", wait for days... Maybe weeks politicians need people's votes to get on the seat. Right then, you'd clean your eyes profusely wondering when God decided to send an Angel to earth to console the bereaved souls of humans. It is a miracle.
The words that caught my ears for the last few days have made me more serious with my life knowing I need to be a professional in all jobs. I don't mind you getting the itch of nicknaming me "Jack of all trades". I would love to hear that as we all know, I am planning to become a farmer very soon who specializes in planting sumptuous delicacies for Nigerian citizens to become soldiers when the elected president gets sworn in.
Besides that, I also plan to become an engineer, a barber, an Uber driver, a footballer, an electrician, and other jobs I can get my hands on. You don't need to clap me yet, give all glory to the Angel that came down to Nigeria a few days ago.
Without further ado, let me get your lips wet and your parched throat filled in with the gist for today, and bear in mind the ironic displays of words.
After the Presidential election where Nigerians are fortunate... Very fortunate they were to get an amazing man as their President, the governorship election came in though it was moved from the initial date of 11th March 2023 to 18th March 2023. Lo and behold, days before the election, an Angel came to earth. How surprising.
The Angel was known as the Jack of all trades. Though this Angel was a politician, he cared for the people so he became a footballer, a phone repairer, a surveyor, a hairstylist, a dancer, and many more. He did this to satisfy the people, not for his gain but because he loves the people so dearly. He released some inmates from prison since he was the governor of Lagos state and wants to be reelected into his office.
He also ordered people's buses, cars, and motorcycles to be released to them. Now, tell me. Isn't that an Angel? Forget the fact that he was on the seat when people cried in pain. I am sure he didn't know that. Such an Angelic being won't have, right? A crazy world we live in.
Nigerians' newfound Angel did so much for the citizens that I became so teary when I heard he won the Governorship election. According to an eyewitness during Election Day, it was reported that the election was free and fair.

At the end of the day, Nigerians got themselves an Angel as the ruler. Now, I ask;
Can your politicians ever turn into an Angel in the spasm of days and win people's favor?
Just like I stated in my previous post here this post wasn't written to make a Caricature of the Nigerian Leader. Hehe.
Still yours truly,
Balikis.
Thanks for reading.
Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.
