This weekend we started a new adventure in my world of baseball mom, IX Campeonato Estadales de Selecciones Selectivos 2025 Category Juvenil AA began in the city of Maracay and my son Andres for the second time is representing the municipality Libertador. The first time was three years ago, experience that is told in this publication.
For this championship four teams were registered and were grouped in two groups, the Libertador team was in group A. The inauguration took place on Saturday, but after the first game was over so that the other two teams that were going to play later would be on the field. It was a very simple inauguration with the participation of some emblematic baseball personalities of the state of Aragua.

Este fin de semana dimos inicio a una nueva aventura en mi mundo de mamá beisbolera, comenzó IX Campeonato Estadales de Selecciones Selectivos 2025 Categoría Juvenil AA en la cuidad de Maracay y mi hijo Andrés por segunda vez está representando el municipio Libertador. La primera vez fue hace tres años, experiencia que es conté en esta publicación.
Para este campeonato se inscribieron cuatro equipos y fueron agrupados en dos grupos, el equipo del Libertador le tocó en el grupo A. El sábado se hizo la inauguración pero después de terminar el primer juego para que así estuvieran en el campo los otros dos equipos que iban a jugar después. Fue una inauguración bastante sencilla con la participación de algunos personajes emblemáticos del béisbol del estado Aragua.
The games are scheduled for 9:00 am and we arrive very early thanks to the mayor of the Libertador municipality, who has provided the team with transportation from the mayor’s office and in this way we are saving time and money in transportation, something I am very grateful for. The transportation picks us up very early in the morning and when the game is over they look for us to come back. We don’t live near the town so we have to travel by public transportation to the avenue where they pick us up and then take public transportation back home.
The first game was against the team of one of the leagues that are within the city of Maracay, we won 2-1 and Andres contributed with a hit, a bunt, one out and four assists playing third base. A very productive game for him. This game was close at all times but they were able to win it, it is a pity that yesterday and today they did not have the same luck, because they have lost both games and things have not gone very well. Tomorrow the second round begins and we hope they do much better to be able to move on to the semifinals on Friday, otherwise they would stay in the regular round and that is not what we want.
Los juegos están programados para las 9:00 am y nosotros llegamos muy temprano gracias al alcalde del municipio Libertador, que ha puesto a disposición del equipo el transporte de la alcaldía y de esa manera nos estamos ahorrando tiempo y dinero en transporte, algo que agradezco mucho. El transporte nos recoge muy temprano y cuando termina el juego nos buscan para regresar. Nosotros como no vivimos cerca del pueblo entonces si tenemos que viajar en transporte público hasta la avenida donde nos pasan buscando y luego regreso tomar el transporte público para ir a la casa.
El primer juego fue contra el equipo de una de las ligas que se encuentran dentro de la ciudad de Maracay, ganamos 2 a 1 y Andrés aportó con un hit, un toque de bola, un out y cuatro asistencias jugando tercera base. Un juego bastante productivo para él. Este juego estuvo cerrado en todo momento pero lo pudieron ganar, lastima que ayer y hoy no corrieron con la misma suerte, pues han perdido los dos juegos y es que las cosas no les han salido muy bien. Mañana comienza la segunda ronda y esperamos que les vaya mucho mejor para poder pasar a la semifinal el día viernes de lo contrario se quedarían en la ronda regular y no es lo que queremos.
