Primero debo decirles que no ganamos el campeonato, pero eso no quiere decir que no se haya hecho todo lo posible y que estemos como padres orgullosos del trabajo de nuestros hijos. Este campeonato es de una semana aunque llevaban dos meses en prácticas y juegos amistosos como comente en mi primera publicación, gracias a Dios me pude organizar y cumplir con mi trabajo, escuela y con el béisbol. Cuando llegó la hora del campeonato pues estábamos más que preparados, en estos torneos se incluyen equipos de peloteros de la misma edad pero que son clasificados en A,B y C. Mi hijo estaba en el equipo B por esta razón sabíamos que debían dar el doble para ganarle a un equipo A.
First I must tell you that we did not win the championship, but that does not mean that we did not do everything possible and that we are proud of our children's work as parents. This championship is a week long even though they had been practicing and playing friendly games for two months as I mentioned in my first publication, thank God I was able to get organized and fulfill my work, school and baseball. When it was time for the championship we were more than prepared, in these tournaments teams of players of the same age are included but they are classified in A, B and C. My son was on the B team and for this reason we knew that they had to give twice as much to beat an A team.

Algo que a mi parecer me incomodaba porque todos son amigos pero un solo equipo tendría que seguir. Este fue el juego que perdimos y donde se acabado el estadal para nuestro equipo.

Siempre había escuchado mucho de estos eventos, de como hay manager que por ganar los juegos solo salen a jugar con su equipo titular y dejan a muchos niños en la banca sin participar, eso me causaba un poco de molestia y sentía miedo que a mi hijo le pasara. Pero este año el manager del equipo de mi hijo se aseguró que todos los niños salieran a jugar. Otra de cosas por la que me siento satisfecha es el hecho que los niños lo hicieron tan bien que ninguno de los dos juegos que perdieron lo hicieron por KO (perder el juego por 10 carreras), dieron lo mejor de ellos hasta el último momento, haciéndonos como padres sentir orgullosos y felices del esfuerzo, compromiso y responsabilidad que mostraron en el campo. Another thing I feel satisfied about is the fact that the kids did so well that neither of the two games they lost were by KO (losing the game by 10 runs), they gave their best until the last moment, making us as parents feel proud and happy of the effort, commitment and responsibility they showed on the field. As I said at the beginning, we didn't win but we feel as if we did.
