Mathias Andrés ha avanzado muchísimo en sus clases de terapia de lenguje como le comente en uno de mis post ya se le entiende mucha más sus palabras y aunque aún no conforma oraciones como tal, si es entendible lo que pronuncia.
Su terapista de lenguaje también es psicopedagoga, pero se enfoca más en el lenguaje, una de sus estrategias para estimular el mismo es trabajndole la parte pedagógica, cosa que le ha servido de mucho, ya mathias se sabe las vocales y el abecedario de manera ecánica y de manera aleatoria, al igual que los números hasta el 15 y todos los colores.
Esta vez iniciamos la parte de reforzamiento de conocimientos con una especialista, ustedes se preguntaran, ¿por qué yo siendo psicopedagoga no soy quien lo refuerza?, la respuesta es muy simple, todo buen profesional no puede serlo con un hijo, por ejemplo, no he visto el primer cardiólogo operar a su hijo a corazón abierto, simplemente no se puede, yo le refuerzo en casa lo que su maestra del colegio me indica que esta trabajando en aula y así es mucho lo que se ha avanzado.
Así que a partir de este momento, en este edificio, justamente en esta puerta, es nuestra cita, todos los viernes de 8:00 a 9:30 de la mañana.
Mathias Andres has made great progress in his speech therapy classes as I mentioned in one of my post and he can understand much more of his words and although he still does not form sentences as such, it is understandable what he pronounces.
His speech therapist is also a psychopedagogue, but she focuses more on language, one of her strategies to stimulate it is to work on the pedagogical part, which has helped him a lot, Mathias already knows the vowels and the alphabet in an organic and random way, as well as the numbers up to 15 and all the colors.
This time we started the part of reinforcement of knowledge with a specialist, you may wonder, why I being a psychopedagogue am not the one who reinforces it, the answer is very simple, every good professional can not be with a child, for example, I have not seen the first cardiologist operate his son to open heart, simply can not, I reinforce at home what his school teacher tells me that he is working in the classroom and so much progress has been made.
So from this moment on, in this building, right at this door, is our appointment, every Friday from 8:00 to 9:30 in the morning.
De ella aprendí muchísimo, manejamos los mismos conceptos y herramientas pedagógicas en cuanto a educacion especial se refiere, venimos de la misma casa de estudio, llamada UPEL, que no es más que la alma mater en Educación en mi país Venezuela y fueron muchos los cursos realizados como equipo interdisciplinario para nutrir aún más nuestros conocimientos.
I learned a lot from her, we handle the same concepts and pedagogical tools as far as special education is concerned, we come from the same house of study, called UPEL, which is nothing more than the alma mater in Education in my country Venezuela and there were many courses taken as an interdisciplinary team to further nurture our knowledge.
La primera visita fue la entrevista a mí como madre y la evaluación por medio de observación directa a Mathias, así se iba evaluando su comportamiento ante un nuevo espacio, con nuevos juegos, pero también con nuevas reglas y pautas a seguir.
Hubo una pregunta que me realizó, que realmente no me la esperaba, ella me dice que viendo cada uno de los avances que ha obtenido Mathias a través de la escuela en la parte pedagógica, al compararlo con lo que debe hacer los otros niños de su edad, y que está a la par de ellos, solo tomando en cuenta su bajo nivel de lenguaje expresivo, me preguntó: ¿Qué quería yo con las terapias psicopedagógicas?, al principio quedé en shock jajajajaja, luego le dije que, quería reforzamiento no solamente de la parte pedagógica, son muchas otras cosas que Mathias debe adquirir, por ejemplo, la parte de Actividades de la Vida Diaria (abotonar, desabotonar, subir y bajar cierre, quitarse y colocarse calzados simples, entre otros), muchas veces como mamá, particularmente yo, con 4 hijos esto se me olvida, aunado a ello las diferentes estrategias que ella le pueda recomendar a las docentes como especialista, que no le van a tomar el mismo interés que a mí como mamá.
El consultorio es muy lindo, a mi parecer tiene diferentes juegos y actividades para reforzar las áreas que se desea trabajar.

There was a question that she asked me, that I really did not expect, she told me that seeing each of the advances that Mathias has obtained through school in the pedagogical part, comparing him with what the other children of his age should do, and that he is at par with them, only taking into account his low level of expressive language, she asked me: What did I want with the psycho-pedagogical therapies? At first I was shocked hahahahahaha, then I told him that I wanted reinforcement not only of the pedagogical part, there are many other things that Mathias must acquire, for example, the part of Activities of Daily Living (buttoning, unbuttoning, zipping and unzipping, taking off and putting on simple shoes, taking off and putting on simple shoes, etc.), Many times as a mother, particularly me, with 4 children, I forget this, in addition to the different strategies that she can recommend to the teachers as a specialist, who are not going to take the same interest as me as a mother.
The office is very nice, in my opinion it has different games and activities to reinforce the areas you want to work on.
Mathias en su método de exploración le gustó todo, agarraba una cosa y no terminaba cuando ya quería otra, pero, rápidamente entendió que todo lo que se utilice se debe guardar y ordenar para tomar otra cosa, de no ser así, no se podrá tomar nada más.
Le encantó la alfombra de números, verbalizaba los números que iba saltando, y de vez en cuando decía el número y el color del mismo.

He loved the number carpet, he would verbalize the numbers he was jumping, and every now and then he would say the number and the color of it.
También le gusto mucho la alfombra que era una pista de carros, agarro los caros y los colocaba por colores, rodándolo a su vez, realmente fue de buen agrado su nuevo sitio de clases.

Ya los días viernes no podrá asistir a su escuela, ya que desde las 8:00 hasta las 9:30 tiene psicopedagogía y posterior a ello, de 10:00 a 10:45 tienen terapias de lenguaje, se lo comuniqué a su maestra, me dijo que no había ningún inconveniente.
El próximo plan con Mathias es, inscribirlo en un deporte como actividad extra cátedra, estoy pensando en futbol, solo me queda averiguar el lugar y el horario, esta vez debe ser en el turno de la tarde.
