Me encantan esas películas que no son para todo público, esas que no son para ver en familia un domingo, que más allá del ocio y la diversión que nos brindan, terminan dejando un montón de inquietudes en ti; A todo esto también súmenle que soy un fanático de las referencias, de esos momentos donde los directores y autores se toman la libertad de hacer un tributo en forma de una sutil referencia o easter-egg, una imagen o una frase, lo que sea.

Cuando leí la sinopsis de No miren arriba, me decían que era una película de humor y esto fue lo primero que me hizo dudar de si me gustaría o no sin embargo, al ver el reparto la balanza se equilibró a favor de la película, y es que estamos hablando de actores legendarios en distintas generaciones del cine, y es que salvando las diferencias que pueda haber y respetando los gustos de cada quien, me parecía surrealista ver convivir a Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lawrence y Kate Blanchett, en la misma película con Meryl Streep, por nombrar solo algunos del reparto.

En mi humilde opinión y desde lo antes mencionado, la película es todo lo que está bien y todo lo que está mal de este mundo, ¿Comedia? sí, habla del chiste que somos como sociedad actualmente y no es más que una crítica constante a nosotros mismos, una invitación permanente a que observemos como nos estamos consumiendo como sociedad. La política, la economía, la salud, la tecnología, la religión, la comunicación, la familia, la educación y las clases sociales, entre otros de los muchos puntos claves de una sociedad a los que critica la película.
In my humble opinion and considering everything mentioned above, the film is all that is right and all that is wrong with this world, comedy? yes, it talks about the joke that we are as a society today and it is nothing more than a constant criticism of ourselves, a permanent invitation to observe how we are consuming ourselves as a society. Politics, economics, health, technology, religion, communication, family, education and social classes, among other of the many key points of a society that the film criticizes.

Con un humor muy parecido al de los Simpsons o South Park, donde es humor hasta que alguien se ofende, donde todo parece broma, pero si quieres no es broma, donde todo depende de como percibas lo que la pantalla te muestra, si te quieres reír la película te sacara alguna sonrisa, pero si lo que quieres es quedar cuestionándote tu situación actual la película la escribieron para ti.
