Permanence can be both a blessing and a curse depending on who you ask, many may agree that both Permanence and impermanence have their right place.
However what we see what the rise of NFTs and web3 is the thirst of the few people to gain a permanent virtual spot, oftentimes that can feel unique and personal however it doesn't come without it's own consequences.
There is a fear component in both Permanence and impermanence.
For example when something is permanent we can clearly see a worry about messing up and how our mistakes literally remain marked in the chain such as scars on a face disturbing the perfection many of us may be striving for. It may discourage making any mistake for the sake of image or perhaps consequences.
Perhaps people will refrain from being as creating due to fear of making mistakes which is one viable concern.

Indeed any mistake made can leave a permanent scar and that de-incentivizes people from even trying due to fear of permanent consequences, social and even sometimes real consequences especially when a real identity is correlated, let's not forget that companies would literally pay for digging any "dirt" of anyone who has a social media account or similar connected who wished to work for them.
Of course there are also positives when it comes to Permanence, for instance a creator can easily have their with directly compensated for and that would increase theoretically original creative work, Philosophically speaking any increase I creativity would aid in the increase is people being genuinely curious about the true sources of creativity (more about that in a future post).
In truth, it's more likely for the web to be split into two rather than having a numbered version called "web3", it is an advancement in training l technology which enabled a different type of internet but not an evolved one.
There are always "consequences" and of course we ought to respect both sides of the coin since both are partially valid.
Also in my opinion any attempt to have a permanent web content should be able to sustain and compensate original creators for ever as well.
A system should be in place where any action triggered by any content (even older ones) should result in the original creators of the content to be fairly compensated.

So in conclusion, the concept of permanence can induce both anxiety and enthusiasm depending on the context, we are to encourage the design of systems and tools which go in harmony with our best interest, since our tools are relative to our needs, a tool which is able to store permanent data over a one that does not would be best serving for such aims.
