Expect the worst but give it your best

Most times, what we do is that we choose to expect the worst Not because we don't want something good, but because if the worst happens, we are already preparing for it, and we won't start looking for solutions up and down and m if the best happens, it will be a pleasant surprise, which is why most people expect the worst.

One thing about expecting the worst is that it's always come to pass, and it's not because of anything but that is how life is, We fail multiple times before we get the desired result, but expecting the worst can be a motivation and can also be detrimental.

When anticipating the worst, some individuals channel their energy into excelling in that particular aspect to exceed their expectations, while others feel discouraged and unmotivated this individual may hinder his progress by allowing negative thoughts to hold them back.

I choose it

The truth is when some people expect the worst, they are only focused on the worst because that is what their mind is telling them. They couldn't see anything beyond focusing on the worst giving themselves reasons not to do good for themselves and that is not what you should be focused on but you can use it as a weapon.

The main difference here is the focus. If you focus on something bad, you can't give it your best because your mind will keep telling you that bad things always come, but what makes the difference is you must always go for the best and give it your best shot. Give yourself reasons to do good for yourself and do everything in your power to get it but be prepared for the worst so that you won't be caught by surprise, and this will motivate you to try again.

Too much

Lowering our expectations can help us avoid disappointment, but it doesn't mean that we should settle for less. Instead, we should strive to give our best effort in everything we do. Too many expectations always hurt us and that is why we should expect the worst but always give it our best.
