Mark the date, as yesterday was the launch of PolyCub, two days ahead of CubFinance's first anniversary.
But, a routine is a routine, and Sunday is the day when I publish the weekly progress report for my Hive goals.
My main focus this week was split between Splinterlands with the end of season at the beginning of the week and then slowly slid into anything regarding PolyCub.
I still question myself. Should I have added more funds? Is it too late now?
To some degree I am ok with my decision to only use the airdrop, the liquid LEO I had been piling up for some time and the funds I already had on Polygon, which weren't much.
At most, I'm still pondering if I should move a little CAKE I have in the CubFinance kingdom to PolyCub. It wouldn't make much of a difference, that's why I didn't think this is a priority. Maybe it would have been a good idea while xPolyCub was still close in value to PolyCub, before early harvesting fees started to pile up.
But I'm seriously getting sucked into the PolyCub topic, and I need to move on to my progress report.
My main Hive goals in 2022 are:
- 25000 HIVE (Power)
- 5000 HBD
This week I have a surprise for you.
I'll add two new goals to the ones already stated since the beginning of the year.
The additional goals are:
- reach the 10000 comments milestone on HiveBuzz
- reach the 10000 replies milestone
I've been convinced to set these goals after the discussions I had on my post from yesterday, particularly with @thisismylife and @jfang003.
As we can see from the screenshots on HiveBuzz, I am currently at 6559 comments
and 6762 replies. Initially I thought by replies are measured my own replies to comments I receive. That would have been controllable.
A "replies received" metric is not something I can directly influence. But I'll keep the target, to see how this goes.
There are 300 days left in 2022, which means that to reach those targets I need an average of (10000 - 6559) / 300 = 11.48 comments per day. Since this is an average there will be days with higher number of comments and days with lower or no comments.
For replies received, (10000 - 6762) / 300 = 10.80 replies per day. By using Listnerds, and if the engagement it produces remains at high levels or increases, this shouldn't be such an issue.
Per week, that means 81 comments made and 76 replies received.
Per month (considering a 30-day month), those milestones turn into 345 comments and 324 replies.
I'll have to think if I'll add them to the weekly spreadsheet (more work), or keep an eye on them for a while to see how things evolve. Who knows, maybe I'm doing better than those limits? I haven't really been interested in tracking these metrics so far.
Regarding the main goals, HIVE Power and HBD, this was a slow week and below the guidelines. I didn't push except on Monday to achieve the HIVE goal for February, which I did. Afterwards, it's mainly author and curation rewards.
Here's the spreadsheet:
