Como en todo comienzo, pues es un placer conocerles. Mi nombre es Jesús Armando Castillo Torrealba.
Tengo 44 años de edad, estoy felizmente casado desde hace 5 años con una hija.
Soy Economista de profesión y mi interés principal al unirme a esta prestigiosa comunidad es la de compartir mis experiencias en el campo de las Finanzas, y muy particularmente en el campo del Trading y la Inversión Bursátil.
Pero, primero lo primero. Permítanme contarles un poco sobre mí.

As in any beginning, it is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Jesús Armando Castillo Torrealba.
I am 44 years old, I’ve been happily married for 5 years and, we have a daughter.
I am an Economist by profession and my main interest in joining this prestigious community is to share my experiences in the field of Finance, and very particularly in the field of Trading and Stock Investment.
First of all. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
Mis primeros pasos
Nací el 04 de abril de 1977, en Caracas, Venezuela. Vengo de una familia católica de clase media trabajadora.
He tenido la suerte de contar con unos padres, Hilda y Jesús, que siempre lo dieron todo por proveerme de una educación que me permitiera salir adelante y progresar por mi propio esfuerzo.
Tengo dos hermanos mayores, Pedro y William, con los cuales cuento como un apoyo muy importante.
Recibimos en el seno de nuestra familia una formación basada en valores como la honestidad, la generosidad, y se nos inculcó el esfuerzo y el espíritu de logro desde muy temprano.
Tengo la suerte de tener con vida y buena salud a mis dos padres, a quienes agradezco cada día por todo lo que han hecho por mí sin pedir nada a cambio…
My first steps
I was born on April 4, 1977, in Caracas, Venezuela. I come from a working middle class catholic family.
I have been fortunate to have parents, Hilda and Jesús, who always gave their all to provide me with an education that would allow me to get ahead and progress by my own effort.
I have two older brothers, Pedro and William, with whom I count as a very important support.
We received within our family a formation based on values such as honesty, generosity, and effort and the spirit of achievement were instilled in us very early on.
I am lucky to have my two parents alive and in good health, whom I thank every day for everything they have done for me without asking for anything in return ...
Mi educación y formación
Desde la formación escolar y hasta la educación media, tuve la oportunidad de poder estudiar en planteles de educación pública, pero de muy buena calidad.
Esto me permitió poder acumular una buena base para mi futura educación superior.
También me beneficié de instituciones que en su momento ayudaron muchísimo en la formación para el trabajo.
Estoy hablando por ejemplo, del Instituto Nacional de Cooperación Educativa (I.N.C.E.). Allí me formé como Aprendiz Bancario y esto me permitió entrar al mercado laboral muy temprano.
De hecho, antes de ir a la universidad trabajé durante 5 años en varios bancos privados nacionales e internacionales.
En el año 1999 decidí que era el momento de ir por más. Así que me matriculé en la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (U.C.A.B.) en la carrera de Economía, gracias al apoyo de la Fundación Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho.
Completé mi carrera en 5 años para 2004 con muy buenos logros académicos.
Además, recibí de mi Alma Mater una continuación de la enseñanza en valores y la preocupación por compartir lo que tenemos y ayudar a aquellos que están a nuestro alrededor, y al país en general.
Adicional a ello, también inicié un Master en Administración de Empresas en la misma casa de estudios, el cual no he concluido aún.
También me he mantenido aprendiendo a lo largo de los años, en especial a través de cursos de formación en diversos campos y herramientas.
My education and training
From school to high school, I had the opportunity to study in public education schools, but of very good quality.
This allowed me to build a good foundation for my future higher education.
I also benefited from institutions that at the time helped a lot in training for work.
I am talking, for example, of the National Institute of Educational Cooperation (I.N.C.E.). There I trained as a Banking Apprentice and this allowed me to enter the job market very early.
In fact, before going to university I worked for 5 years in various national and international private banks.
In 1999 I decided it was time to go for more. So I enrolled at the Andrés Bello Catholic University (U.C.A.B.) in the Economics career, thanks to the support of the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Foundation.
I completed my career in 5 years for 2004 with very good academic achievements.
In addition, I received from my Alma Mater a continuation of the teaching in values and the concern to share what we have and help those who are around us, and the country in general.
In addition to this, I also started a Master in Business Administration at the same university, which I have not completed yet.
I have also kept learning over the years, especially through training courses in various fields and tools.
Mis experiencias profesionales
Como ya les adelanté, antes de ser profesional trabajé durante 5 años en diversos bancos, como el Banco Latino, el Banco Provincial y el Citibank.
Luego de mi etapa universitaria, retorné a la banca privada por algún tiempo.
También trabajé en diversos grupos empresariales privados durante varios años, para volver a la banca otra vez.
Siempre me desempeñé en el ámbito de las Finanzas, y en áreas como Presupuesto, Gastos e Inversiones.
En mi última experiencia profesional antes de la pandemia de Covid-19, trabajé como Gerente de Finanzas hasta enero 2020.
Luego de ello, y coincidiendo con este acontecimiento global tan difícil y perjudicial para todos, me tomé una pausa para actualizar mis conocimientos y buscar otros horizontes profesionales.
Uno de ellos fue aprovechar las enormes oportunidades que ofrece la Economía Digital.
Así que desarrollé algunas habilidades y hoy por hoy me desempeño como Freelance Copywriter para el website español, Sincomisiones.org.
Allí desarrollo contenido original sobre diversos temas del mundo bursátil y las finanzas. A la fecha me han publicado 20 artículos técnicos para un total de más 50.000 palabras.
My professional experiences
As I already told you, before becoming a professional I worked for 5 years in various banks, such as Banco Latino, Banco Provincial and Citibank.
After my university stage, I returned to private banking for some time.
I also worked in various private business groups for several years, to return to banking again.
I have always worked in the field of Finance, and in areas such as Budget, Expenses and Investments.
In my last professional experience before the Covid-19 pandemic, I worked as a Finance Manager until January 2020.
After that, and coinciding with this global event that is so difficult and harmful for everyone, I took a break to update my knowledge and seek other professional horizons.
One of them was taking advantage of the enormous opportunities offered by the Digital Economy.
So I developed some skills and today I am a Freelance Copywriter for the spanish website, Sincomisiones.org.
There I develop original content on various topics in the stock market, trading and finance world. To date, I have had 20 technical articles published for a total of more than 50,000 words.
El Trading: Un Nuevo Desafío
Desde finales de 2019 y durante la pausa que les comento, a partir de enero 2020, me dediqué a investigar sobre ese sonado tema llamado “trading”.
Mi interés era buscar una nueva fuente de generación de ingresos y la oportunidad de desarrollar un negocio propio. Y si éste podía estar basado en la economía digital, pues tanto mejor.
Comencé investigando todo lo que pude a través Youtube, hasta que me pareció que esa podía ser una alternativa válida a mediano plazo.
Por supuesto, como todo en la vida esto requería formación y práctica.
Contacté a un instructor privado y realicé un Curso Introductorio sobre Trading por 250$. Allí conocí los aspectos básicos y vi de primera mano cómo operar en las bolsas de valores del mundo a través de internet.
A medida que fue pasando el tiempo y seguía practicando más y más por mi cuenta, me percaté que esta alternativa requeriría una curva de aprendizaje más larga.
Es por esto que apoyándome en mis ahorros, decidí suspender cualquier actividad profesional y me sumergí por completo en el mundo del trading.
Mi meta era seguir aprendiendo todo lo que pudiera hasta que lograra un nivel tal, que me permitiera abrir mi propia cuenta de trading con buenos resultados, o bien, comprar una prueba para optar por una cuenta de trading fondeada.
Hoy por hoy, considero que tengo un buen nivel (Nivel II: Principiante Avanzado) para ir por este camino con éxito. Les puedo compartir que se requieren tal vez varios años para lograr un nivel experto…
En mis posts, además de otros temas, les estaré compartiendo valiosos detalles de mi experiencia en el trading. Serán de gran ayuda para aquellos que pretendan ir por este camino.
Trading: A New Challenge
Since the end of 2019 and during the break that I am telling you about, starting in January 2020, I dedicated myself to research about that notorious topic called “trading”.
My interest was to find a new source of income generation and the opportunity to develop my own business. And if it could be based on the digital economy, so much the better.
I started investigating everything I could through YouTube, until it seemed to me that this could be a valid alternative in the medium term.
Of course, like everything in life this required training and practice.
I contacted a private instructor and took an Introductory Course on Trading for $ 250. There I learned the basics and saw first-hand how to operate on the world's stock exchanges through the internet.
As time went on and I kept practicing more and more on my own, I realized that this alternative would require a longer learning curve.
This is why, relying on my savings, I decided to suspend any professional activity and immersed myself completely in the world of trading.
My goal was to keep learning as much as I could until I reached a level that would allow me to open my own trading account with good results, or to buy a trial to opt for a funded trading account.
Today, I consider that I have a good level (Level II: Advanced Beginner) to go down this path successfully. I can share with you that it may take several years to achieve an expert level ...
In my posts, in addition to other topics, I will be sharing valuable details of my trading experience. They will be of great help to those who intend to go down this path.
Mi amada familia
Luego de tres años de noviazgo, el 09 de diciembre de 2016 contraje matrimonio con mi actual esposa, Lisnohel.
Ella es mi gran razón para seguir adelante y es el principal apoyo que me permite levantarme ante los obstáculos y adversidades que nos aparecen en el camino.
También es la voz que, para mi fortuna, se atreve a decirme que puedo estar equivocado en alguna ocasión. Eso me ha ayudado mucho a crecer como ser humano.
Tenemos una hija, Valeria, que aunque proviene de un anterior matrimonio, la quiero como si fuera propia. Tiene 19 años y estamos enfocados en que pueda contar con un futuro lleno de oportunidades.
Tenemos muchos proyectos juntos y seguimos aprendiendo cada día para poder lograr nuestros sueños y metas.
Espero que estas breves palabras te permitan tener una idea clara de quién es Jesús... Nos vemos en la Comunidad Hive.

My beloved family
After three years of dating, on December 9, 2016 I married my current wife, Lisnohel.
She is my great reason to keep going and she is the main support that allows me to stand up to the obstacles and adversities that appear along the way.
She is also the voice that, fortunately for me, dares to tell me that I may be wrong on some occasions. That has helped me a lot to grow as a human being.
We have a daughter, Valeria, who although she comes from a previous marriage, I love her as if she were my own. She is 19 years old and we are focused on her having a future full of opportunities.
We have many projects together and we continue to learn every day in order to achieve our dreams and goals.
I hope these brief words allow you to have a clear idea of who Jesus is...
