It's the first day of the new year and it's also Hive Power Up Day. The fifth month of the year is over, and there is only 5 months left in the year.
Hive Power Up Day
More information about Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) can be found at the January HPUD post by "@"traciyork. I don't think there are any rewards for doing so outside of the hivebuzz badge. There haven't been any prizes for a long while, but I still think its nice to power up as a blockchain on the first of every month. There is still a little over 19 hours left for you to get your power-up in for that badge, and it is based on UTC time.
My current HP before powering up is 16,762 HP and I plan on powering up 10 HIVE this month. My goals for 2025 are here. The results of this can be seen in the picture below, and here is the transaction link.
Here is my latest update for the Saturday Saver's Challenge for 2025. I am doing well on these goals as the progress adds up over time.
Monthly Goals
Here I will set my goals for the month and I will skip the review this time because I didn't set goals last month since I combined HPUD with my Saturday Savers Update. Overall, I did achieve my goals, and my goals tend to be the same each month anyways. I did not buy any LENM, but I will add that to my goals this month to make up for it. The HP, LEO power, and blog posts were completed without any issues. HP seems to be gotten gradually as I make sure to stay active every single day. LEO power is met through LPUD every single month. I am a bit worried about my reserves for LEO after the changes, but lets see how things go for the rest of the year.
June goals
I will use the monthly goals as usual and I used what I had last month as a reference as my yearly goals have not been set.

- 12,600 Leo Power Staked
- Buy 4 LENM
Conclusion
As usual, I am just doing my usual activities on Hive at night. It's always good to look back and make sure that my own goals are on track and that I am making decent progress. Showing up each day matters and it has been paying off. I am doing quite well toward my own goals even if HP is slightly behind. So long as I am consistent, I believe that the growth will continue. I am a bit worried about LEO, but all of my goals are progressing quite well.
