“Black birds tend to like shiny things.” ~ The Bloody Raven
#sgslife Update
Her vitals have been elevated since the beginning of her Immuno-therapy began a little more than three weeks ago. This side effect was expected but seeing these figures this high has added to my anxiety collection over the last year. As I mentioned on an earlier post, the theraputic mechanism is to increase the metabolism of the body's immune system to fight this Cancer, hence the elevated vital sighs.
With the advice from our Oncologist, the daily dosage had been reduced 40% and that was sufficient in relieving the debilitating fatigue. The lack of chronic appetite over the last year saw her shed over 100 pounds of excess weight. A good thing, to a point. Now if I could get her to eat more. What counted is that this treatment helped reduce her pain, a clear sign that this is having a positive effect on the Cancer. We won't know for sure until May.
As we drove home from the clinic, the weather cleared and we could see the distant North shore mountains. She sighed at the majestic sight, "I hope there will be beautiful mountains in heaven." 😭

Today’s random Silver Coin
I haven’t seen this coin presented her as far as I can remember on Hive. It’s a generic round I pulled out of my strong box a few days ago and was immediately reminded of a former YouTube and Hivian a few years back, @agscotskiwi.

The Reverse is inspired from the original 1949 New Zealand Crown but has no denomination indicated, simplicity and Iconic of New Zealand in its design. Purely an investment bullion product that is still available from the New Zealand Mint located in Auckland in tubes of 25.

AOTEAROA is the Maori name of New Zealand, translated as “Land of the long white cloud.” Sounds poetic. You will have to imagine yourself on a boat out on the ocean gazing at the mountainous island before any European had set foot upon this mysterious land. The name was originally referring just to the northern island but has since encompassed the group.
The Four Stars refer to the Southern Cross constellation.

The background is a 1956 – 1960 New Zealand 10 Shillings, P#158c, Fleming signature.
The foreground is a 1965 New Zealand 1 Florin. CuNi, Depicted on the reverse is a Kiwi bird, unique and native to New Zealand.

Adding Hive power and Kiwi Silver to my Stack for that big Stormy day!

Thank you @traciyork, @hivebuz and a cast of generous contributors for this fun initiative of #hivepowerupday and #HivePUD. Even though I have long crossed beyond the 8000 HP threshold in terms of eligibility I can still enjoy a bit of fun and help encourage participation.
