What a week for RUNE! The chart tells the story of a strong comeback: after starting around $1.28 on August 5, the price dipped slightly before finding its footing on August 7. From there, momentum kicked in, driving a steady climb that peaked near $1.47 on August 11 — the highest level we’ve seen in weeks. It’s been a classic case of “slow grind up,” with bullish sentiment gradually overpowering earlier weakness.
This rally comes amid a generally cautious crypto market. Bitcoin has been holding above $60k, lending some stability, while altcoins like RUNE benefit from renewed interest in cross-chain DeFi. Thorchain’s latest update on improving liquidity routing and lowering swap fees has also added fuel to the fire, giving traders more reason to accumulate. In parallel, LeoDex and other Thorchain-powered platforms are seeing increased activity, suggesting growing real-world use of the network’s liquidity.
