After starting around $1.48, RUNE continued its downward trend, bottoming out near $1.23 before recovering slightly to around $1.32. Volatility remains high, and traders are left guessing—have we seen the bottom, or is there more pain ahead?
Despite the price pressure, the Thorchain ecosystem continues to build. Transaction volume and protocol fees remain healthy, and new integrations are keeping things interesting. One of the highlights this week: Ruji is expanding with increased traction in community use, and LeoDex is seeing a bump in traffic as more users discover its smooth, bridge-free swap interface built on top of Thorchain.
Behind the scenes, developers are focused on improving UX and refining cross-chain liquidity routing. Meanwhile, Bitcoin has been indecisive, bouncing between key levels and dragging the altcoin market along with it. In short: the fundamentals look strong, but market sentiment is shaky.
