Excellent day, here's my response to @galenkp's (WE93) weekend commitment: if you want to know all the topics I leave you the link @galenkp/we93-posting-topic-prompts-want
By the time I am 60 years old I want to...
I want to start by telling you that I have been asking this question since I was 20 years old, just imagining my dream future at 40 years old.
I'm now 45 and still asking myself the question, so I saw in this post an opportunity to answer it.
Already with the clock ticking, when I am 60 I want to be enjoying my financial freedom thanks to the investments and hard work I am doing right now. This financial freedom would allow me to have a house on the beach where we could go on weekends with family and friends, or why not? live on the beach... and wait on weekends for my daughter with her family and everyone who wants to come and hang out.
Likewise, I could travel the world to see different places and explore other cultures hand in hand with my husband, sometimes by plane and sometimes by cruise ship and occasionally take my future grandchildren with us. I want to enjoy a peaceful old age, without financial problems.
Today I am learning about finances, economics and investments to analyze the possible options that will lead me to achieve my goal.
I also want to learn to speak English. I have always been afraid of English and its pronunciation. I want to stop using translators and subtitles in movies. I know that English is the most used language internationally and mastering it would allow me to communicate fluently with the rest of the world.
In addition, it will be very useful when I am traveling for business or pleasure and I don't need my husband to tell me what this or that means. I am currently using an application on my cell phone to learn the basics, then I will use a theoretical and practical course that my brother-in-law gave me to master the language.
I also want to set up a company or foundation whose main objective is to provide psychological and emotional help, personal growth, therapies, something like a clinic with spa, cheerful and fun clinics, some outdoors, tasting refreshments, yoga, meditation.
My daughter would be the Director since she is currently studying psychology and would be the ideal person. The prices for the services would be only those necessary to cover the expenses of the employees. Its mission would be to help, I would not seek to profit in this way because I would already have my investments paying off.
This in order to give back what life is giving me, to repay in some way how generous it has been with me. Since mental health is the first thing to achieve peace with ourselves and with others.
Children would have a very special place, they would not make any payment, since many of the problems and traumas that we present in adulthood come from our childhood. If it is channeled in time and we give the necessary tools to family members and children themselves, we would have more happy adults, more harmonious families, better human beings.
As I mentioned a few lines above, my daughter is studying psychology, she is in love with her career and wants to specialize in clinical psychology. For approximately eight months she has been doing her internship in a Social Security psychiatric hospital in our country, Venezuela.
That's all for today, I enjoyed the realization of the content, it was a kind of exercise that made me have more clear what I want and how to achieve it.
I say goodbye wishing you as always good vibes.💞
