Hello, and howdy beautiful friends from all over the world. How are you today? I hope you are all safe and doing great.
Last week, I had some errands to attend in Cebu City about the payment insurance of my parent. And because I live 3 hours before I arrived in Cebu City, I need to travel early so that I will not be stuck in traffic.
While I am in the bustling area of Cebu. I was amazed because a lot has changed. After a beautiful walk in downtown Cebu, I had to travel to IT Park Cebu to pay for some stuff that my parents asked me for. And while I was taking a walk in the area, I got to see the different BPO Companies booming around. After my appointment, I got the time to stroll in the city.
It's a good feeling walking around the area to enjoy the moment while we are still on vacation. Treating yourself after a tiresome workload is just enough. After strolling, it was already dark, and wandering where to eat for dinner. And I realized I saw a post from Facebook about the famous Sugbo Mercado. So I opted to try the place for I am already near the area.
Before going to the place, I called my friend if she was available to go out with me so that I will have someone to accompany me. Without a doubt, she said yes to my invitation.
"Sugbo Mercado" is a Cebuano term that refers to a marketplace where Cebuano and Foreign Foods are featured and sold. The place has a lot of branches but today, I will be showing you the branch located at the center of IT Park Cebu which is surrounded by a lot of Filipino and Foreign food stalls.
Food stalls around...
It was my first time in the place. And looking at the place, it's already at full capacity I guess for a lot of locals and foreigners are in the entrance gate. Many customers wait for their turn to go inside. The entrance and exit of the place are situated in a different area. And it's a good thing though to avoid customers getting stranded inside.
So while waiting for my friend and a vacant space, I was looking for stalls where to eat for there are a lot of good food I've seen.
What you see inside...
A lot of seats were allocated for dine-in customers. You can freely choose where you wanted to eat. Locals and foreigners were also hanging out in the place for they served delicious foods with different varieties that could be chosen in the different food stalls.
As you can see, a tent with the sign "Clean As You Go" could be seen at the center. People who are done eating their food will surely bring their plates to the center for there were tables allocated for empty plates.
At the center, you will also see empty plates, trash bags, and trash bins for the trash made by the food goers.
The Stalls who took my Heart Away...
I was making my order at "Manok Bisaya atbp. or "The Native Chicken and Others", with roasted pork liempo and chicken as my order to this food stall. I made my order at this stall for my eyes were dumbfounded by the word "double rice" yet at an affordable price.😄
Because today is the weekend, a lot of food lovers were also eating outside and it's hard to look for vacant seats. You have to wait for about 15 to 20 minutes for you to get free space.

After 15 to 20 minutes, my order was served. I also tried lemon drinks from "The Lemon Co.", to pair with my food choices.
Though it's my first time going into the place, I love the food being served. It's yummy and super juicy. The taste will surely leave your tongue.
Are you looking for yummy and tasty foods in Cebu City? Yes, this place is offering a lot of delicious food which indeed makes your tummy full.
After eating, you can take a walk around. There are also souvenir shops selling t-shirts and other things which you can grab as a souvenir in going to this place.
Outside, you can see wide grass where you can freely sit on the green grasses just in front of the food park. The place has also a nearby terminal for jeepneys which is very suitable for those commuters. Near the terminal is the Ayala Malls Central Block which makes it very convenient for customers to have shopping.
I will surely keep coming back to the place and enjoying the nightly walk with friends again.
