Once upon a time, in a small archaic beautiful village nestled in the rolling hills of the countryside,
the chirping of the birds in the trees and the tall palm trees gave the scenery a quiet but grandeur taste. The dusty narrow roads that added to it's rural look. The cool breeze that blew, the smell of burning woods filled the air. In that small peaceful village, there lived a young woman beautiful as the sun that sets and nice skin like the night sky. She was named Sophia, a girlin her mid twenties. She was kind and again beautiful, with long, flowing hair. Her blue eyes were like the pierced the soul whenever she stares at you. She had the smile of an angel and walks in a majestic manner befitting of a beautiful soul as hers.
Sophia had a lover. She was deeply in love with a handsome young man named Jack, who was the son of the struggling village blacksmith. She cherished him just as a wealthy man cherished his treasures. To get Jack was her treasure and she never wanted to loose him or even think of it.
Jack on the other hand loved Sophia so much just as deeply as she loved him. He made sure to send her gifts in days he made sales at the market and they spent every moment they could together, dreaming of the day when they would be joined in the village square to the full glare of well-wishers and friends, married and start a family of their own.
But as fate would have it, their happiness was not meant to last. Not so long there came a wealthy merchant from a nearby town, who had long harbored a secret desire for Sophia. Even though he learned of her love for Jack. Determined to win her for himself, he hatched a wicked plan to betray Jack and win Sophia's hand in marriage.
The wealthy merchant approached Jack under the guise of friendship, offering him a lucrative job in his shop in the town. The offer was so appetizing that no man could refuse. But Jack, not wanting to leave Sophia but also wanting to provide for their future, so he could have the beautiful life he had planned with Sophia reluctantly accepted the offer.
As the days turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months, Jack's visits to the village became fewer and farther between. Gradually Sophia began to worry, as she had not heard from Jack in some time. That was so unlike him.
Finally, one day, the wealthy merchant came to Sophia with a proposition. He lied to her that Jack had been unfaithful to her with another woman in the other town, and that he was offering to take her away from all of this heartache and make her his wife. He was so funny that his words sounded so true to resist.
Sophia, heartbroken and desperate, believed the merchant's lies and accepted his proposal. She left the village with him, leaving Jack and her old life behind. To her she wasn't to be blamed, she believed the lies told to get about Jack. So technically Jack was at fault.
But as the years went by and Sophia settled into her new life, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was not right. She began to have strange dreams, in which Jack appeared to her, pleading with her to remember the truth.
One day, she couldn't take it anymore she decided that she would travel to the other village to inquire from Jack the truth and why he left her. After a long and difficult journey, Sophia finally arrived at the town and located Jack's shop. On getting there Jack told her that all were lies told against him and that he was surprised when he heard that she was getting married to a new lover.
Sophia was angry and ran back home. She confronted the merchant about what had really happened all those years ago. To her shock, he confessed that he had lied to her about Jack's infidelity, and that he had only wanted her for himself.
Sophia was devastated by the betrayal, but she knew that she had to go back to Jack again and make things right. She set off on another journey to the town where Jack lived, this time with a different mission. She was determined to find him again and apologize for her mistake and get back to being his lover and future wife.
She knocked on the door, and to her amazement, Jack answered.
Overjoyed to see each other again, they fell into each other's arms and vowed to never let anything come between them again. They returned to the village as husband and wife, and lived happily ever after.
