Last March 13th I was giving a Hive Masterclass to a group of people who wanted to know how to get started in this world of decentralized social networks. This talk was motivated by a Telegram community called @ubikalo, who have an excellent initiative to introduce blockchain to all those people who do not know anything about the world of cryptocurrencies. This was the closest thing we had to a MeetUp, but as we are in pandemic times, digital platforms allow us to do wonderful things remotely, among these is the Telegram application, which have a new voice chat mode that is excellent because it already amuy few resources and navigation data. This is what we achieved thanks to the use of Telegram:
El pasado 13 de marzo estuve realizando una Masterclass de Hive a un grupo de personas que querían saber cómo iniciar a este mundo de las redes sociales descentralizadas. Esta charla fue motivada por una comunidad de Telegram llamda @ubikalo, quiénes tienen una excelente iniciativa de introducción a la blockchain para todas aquellas personas que no saben nada acerca del mundo de las criptomonedas. Esto fue lo más parecido que tuvimos a un MeetUp, pero como estamos en tiempos de pandemia, las plataformas digitales nos permiten hacer maravillosas cosas a distancia, entre estas está la aplicación de Telegram, que tienen un nuevo modo de chat de voz que es excelente porque ya amuy pocos recursos y datos de navegación. Esto fue lo que logramos gracias al uso de Telegram:

The first thing I did after the invitation of the community, was to start doing a promotional work through social networks, I was promoting on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and of course, right here on hive.
Lo primero que hice luego de la invitación de la comunidad, fue empezar a realizar un trabajo de promoción por las redes sociales, estuve promocionando en Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp y por su puesto, por acá mismo por hive.
We started a little after three o'clock in the afternoon because there were a lot of people entering right at the start time of the activity and I wanted no one to miss the information from the beginning, all the information is important. The chat was kept closed, both text and voice, so that the information was not interrupted, except for some permissions that were given for the helpers of the activity. @jauregui98 helped me to share the slides I made for such activity and every so often and @gorayii, @josecarrerag and @roadstories helped me to complement information and answer questions. Every once in a while we would make a small break and open the text chat for people to ask any questions they had.
Empezamos poco más de las tres de la tarde porque había mucha gente ingresando justo a la hora de inicio de la actividad y quería que nadie se perdiera de la información desde el principio, toda la información es importante. El chat se mantenía cerrado, tanto el de texto como el de voz, para que no se interrumpiera la información, a excepción de algunos permisos que se dieron para los ayudantes de la actividad. @jauregui98 me ayudó a compartir las diapositivas que realicé para tal actividad y cada cierto tiempo y @gorayii, @josecarrerag y @roadstories me ayudaron a complementar información y responder las preguntas. Cada cierto tiempo hacíamos un pequeño paréntesis y se abría el chat de texto para que las personas hicieran todas las preguntas que tuvieran.

The scope of the activity was great, more than 70 people were connected in the activity and I left them the task of making their first presentation in Hive, I hope that at least half of the attendees can do it and stay active on the platform. This Masterclass was a resounding success, so much so that we will be repeating it soon because there were many people who could not attend and many others who found out about the activity late.
El alcance de la actividad fue genial, más de 70 personas estuvieron conectadas en la actividad y les dejé la tarea de que hicieran su primera presentación en Hive, espero que al menos la mitad de los asistentes puedan hacerla y que se mantengan activos en la plataforma. Esta Masterclass fue un rotundo éxito, tanto es así que pronto lo estaremos repitiendo porque hubo mucha gente que no pudo asistir y muchos otros que se enteraron tarde de la actividad.

I am very pleased with the results that have already begun to be noticed, my main mission is to share knowledge and that all those who are entering on my recommendation, do things correctly avoiding abuse and making quality publications. Estoy muy complacida con los resultados que ya se han empezado a notar, mi principal misión es compartir los conocimientos y que todos los que vayan ingresando por recomendación mía, hagan las cosas correctamente evitando el abuso y realizando publicaciones de calidad.
